2 employees at lunch. 7+ people in line my entire experience. ONLY protein options was chicken. Nothing else was prepared. To oder 1 item togo: 35 minutes. This is an embarrassment to any food service. Blame is on ownership and management (lack of).
When we arrived, the place was smoky because the exhaust isn’t working properly. Kitchen was filthy and rags and mops were left laying around the dining area. The older cook lady was so stingy with the food servings I had to ask twice for her to give me a decent amount of vegetables. The chips were overcooked and way oversalted and they just shrugged it off like they didn’t care when I let them know. The people who work here have no joy or pride in what they do. Even the signage outside was flickering, like the place was dying. So sad.
This situation began on Tuesday, when I placed and paid for an online order, arrived to locked doors, no signage, and no employees visible. I had to go through the drive-thru just to be acknowledged and told the store was closed. I was told my refund would take 2–3 days.
I returned today (Thursday) after giving them time, and I still have not received my refund. When I attempted to speak with a manager, she was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She stated she “didn’t have time” to listen, claimed she was relaying information from the owner, refused to provide any documentation or proof that my refund was processed, and then changed the timeline to 5–7 days. The interaction escalated because of her attitude, which is unacceptable from management.
Beyond the refund issue, this location is poorly maintained. The bathrooms are filthy, with visible stains on the walls and trash cans, and the store does not appear clean or well-kept overall. The restaurant is never fully stocked, there are rarely any customers, and it’s clear that customer service is not a priority here.
For comparison, I placed the same type of order at the Moe’s location on Pleasant, and that location handled everything professionally and processed my refund immediately. I would recommend that location instead.
I would not give this store my money, and I suggest others think twice before doing so
not taste right. They told me that they didn’t have the tortillas they need to make me the Stack entree that I wanted, although the guy ahead of me in line received one. The food that I did receive was bland, cold, and unappetizing. Today was the first time I have ever thrown away my food at a restaurant and left. I want a refund! Go to the other location in Ft.Mill for the proper Moe’s experience.
A recent visit on a week night was super disappointint. Already from the outside things we’re looking grim: flickering signage backlight, orange cones at the drive-thru window and the front door was broken and flopping.
Upon entering, we were not greeted by “Welcome to Moe’s!”. The place was dirty & desperately in need of a refresh and a cleaning. Booths were looking rough too. I noticed two only employees working and the line was barely moving. Ended up leaving because the enployee making the burritos disappeared to argue with a DoorDash driver. None of the toppings on the serving line looked fresh.
This is the last time I will be frequenting this location. Things have gone from bad to worse here over the past year! Ended up going to CAVA at Rivergate a few miles away for a 10x better experience.
