The food was fresh and delicious! Portions are large. Staff was very friendly and checked on us regularly. The marinara sauce is tangy with plenty of garlic. The lasagna was big enough for my mother-in-law to keep half for dinner. The medium-sized calzone was filling. The gyro meat was really good. They offer a discount for veterans, college students, and first responders. The Moe’s Greek pizza was my favorite!

My mom knows I hate chains. She told me about a “local” place near where she lives, so we had lunch there. Frankly, it’s more “diner” than “restaurant,” and the folding chairs had me concerned, but then I got my food. Awesome. Bread was perfect… not hard and not burned. The ingredients and meat were very fresh, and the overall meal was completely satisfying.

Was on the way back down to Kentucky from Mountain Lake Lodge. We were looking for some place that we don’t have around town to eat. We found this place online and decided to try it out. Right from the get-go we were greeted by our waitress who gave our little girl a stuffed animal. Lots of kind words and very personable staff. They all contributed to the atmosphere. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and was really delicious! Great prices on food as well! Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is a great local pizza joint that is very clean and friendly. The pizza is much better than the chain pizza places like Papa John’s or Domino’s. Really good sauce! I was treated like family by the personnel who were very personable. If you’re in the Athens area and you’re looking for a good pizza, this is a good place.

This restaurant is practically the best restaurant in all of Athens, WV. With delightfully greasy food, Moe’s will make you appreciate and cherish salad while also wishing it didn’t exist. Honestly, the service at Moe’s was fantastic and made each of the ten times we are from them an experience to be remembered. Moe’s provides such a variety of tasty and heart clogging foods that there is no end to the combinations of heart disease you can create.

Food is GREAT! SERVICE is friendly….not a fast food joint. This is a sit down, enjoy your meal experience! Air conditioning noise is a little loud. If you are hearing impaired listening to conversations may be difficult. Quality of food overcomes any drawbacks. A great place to eat!
