Best pie on the East side hands down. That meatball sub is stupid good. Don’t even get me started on the dessert. If you don’t know about this place you had better because you are totally missing out. The deep dish has the perfect crunch and consistency you would expect.

Little Italy Pizza consistently delivers exceptional pizza that stands among the finest in Metro Detroit. I first visited their original location in the 1990s, and even after more than two decades, the quality remains unwavering. Despite the short drive, I admittedly had not returned as often as I should have, but recent visits have reaffirmed why Little Itlay deserves enduring praise. Both the round and square pizzas are outstanding, the round being my personal preference, perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. The square, however, is equally impressive, a testament to the kitchen’s craftsmanship. Beyond the food, the attentive service and the rich history of the restaurant further elevates the experience. I have grabbed pizza here four times in the past two weeks, and it has quickly become a new favorite for my family.

I have only ordered from here twice. First time I got pizza with bacon, which I specifically requested to not be added. The order was corrected and delicious. However, the second time I ordered the same thing and received a total different variation of what I ordered… BLT with no Bacon. I received pizza with no mayo, no lettuce and thank heavens this time the bacon was left out and I was able to eat what I did receive…but not what I ordered and paid for

First time trying and last time. The sauce had no flavor cheese was extremely chewy. Grease required paper towel and there was enough to fry something. The crust was hard as cardboard. Spent enough money to teach me a lesson, not on my return list. This was a delivery so maybe this was enough reason to send out your worst out.

Ordered cinnamon sticks…… it’s half dry and not entirely enough cinnamon sugar or butter for that matter. As plain bread sticks they’re not bad.. never tried them before, most likely won’t try them again. The service was great and the location is really clean, it smelled great inside so I figured my food would be great as well. Maybe their pizza is better..

Two large delivery pizza orders at around dinner time (6-8pm). Came almost exactly when the estimated time said, which was an hour after ordering.
I’m gonna call this a very “safe” pizza option. I wouldn’t think twice about just defaulting to this place when I can’t think of anywhere else to go. That being said, if you get pizza from here, don’t expect anything crazy. It’s just reliable, down home, make-you-full pizza.
That being said, the cheese and crusts they use are unusually good in comparison to their very one-note sauce. The toppings you can only upgrade so much, a vegetable is a vegetable, but if they spent a bit more time on that sauce, and bring it up to at least the level of the cheese, they may have something.
