We stopped after reading the reviews. Being from the PNW I was searching for real southern BBQ & THIS IS IT! My husband ordered the turkey platter, beans & potato salad. The beans were delicious. Had a bite to it but PHENOMENAL! He also ordered 2 ribs to go w/ & I wanted to steal them. The meat dissolved in your mouth like butter. The turkey? Even better! The potato salad was OK. Just ok. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese & potato salad but I gave the latter to hubby immediately. Not my favorite- one note. Add S&P!! The pulled pork sandwich looked amazing but it was dry. I was not a fan of the BBQ sauce served table side so we (Hubby had too much for just him) shared, decided to take the sandwich home. When dressed up w/ some sweet baby rays bbq & thin slice cheese? Again, phenomenal!!!
Corn bread? I am 52 years old and this is the first cornbread I have ever not just liked, but thoroughly enjoyed.
Now that frozen lemonade?

While working on a movie in New Orleans my friends introduced me to Southern barbecue. We don’t have any BBQ in Hawaii that’s even comparable.
The menu is quite extensive so I had to rely on the locals. Food came out quickly and hot. The pulled pork, mac & cheese and potato salad was utterly amazing.
Thank you for the friendly hospitality that your employees have shown me. In Hawaii we call it the Aloha Spirit. Aloha and Mahalo until we meet again.

This is the best bbq in the world! We are southerners for life and have traveled to several states and places and have never had bbq like this. From the meat to the sides to service they give. Everything is amazing we were looking for a good soul spot on vacation and now we are considering moving to FL just to come here everyday!! Highly recommend this place. It is a MUST

Went to another (chain) BBQ spot on veterans and It was such an ordeal I requested a refund on the spot. I still wanted some BBQ and really should have come here first. It’s clean, bright and the staff is friendly and quick. New go-to spot for BBQ in Metairie!

We ordered Uber Eats from here tonight bc it was bogo pulled pork platters. Also, we got some wings. Even though they had double dashed, it arrived hot and fresh. The baked beans are fantastic and have pieces of pork. The Mac was good. The pulled pork and sauce was moist and tasty. The cornbread was fantastic. Also, the smoked wings with the Smokey ranch sauce were very good. All in all, it was a great value and delicious. Will definitely return!

We got over delivery. The cornbread is so good. Do yall put it on a grill when it’s done? So good. Like cake. The beans. The Mac and cheese I know has a roux, fantastic. Made with love. The wings and bbq sauce were a perfect blend of zesty and smoke. The pork is still falling apart, btw it’s enough for 3 sandwiches. So good. Delicious. I will definitely be back.

Don’t let the non-assuming looks fool you! This Is first grade BBQ! The Texas style (simple seasoning add your own sauce)ribs were tender and juicy, generous portion of pulled pork was enough for sharing and the fried catfish was well seasoned, crunchy on the outside and flaky on inside. So many tasty options for sides… our favorites were the coleslaw and the rice and beans, Mac-n-cheese were not creamy but buttery simple and tasty.
