This might be a personal thing, but when I get BBQ, I like a lot of BBQ sauce. I got the pulled pork platter, and the meat barely had any sauce on it. The platter was was $15.50, which seemed steep based on the amount of food it came with. The corn bread was the jalapeno kind and was ok, the mac & cheese was also average, but the banana pudding was delicious! Definitely get that.
We went while an Auburn basketball game was on, so the bar area was crowded and it was really loud inside. But that’s understandable. Overall an okay experience I would say.

At walking distance from the Huntingdon Hawks football field, it’s a very convenient location to grab a bite before the game. I had the smoked Turkey plate with beans and collard greens. My wife had the pulled pork plate with beans and slaw. Nice simple atmosphere. Good service. Great food.

Had the smoked wings and pulled pork. Both were cooked fine, just no real flavor or smokiness. Ended up using the sauce just to give it something. Not terrible, just pretty forgettable. Wouldn’t rush back.

Tried them for the first time. Food was good, but I couldn’t believe a BBQ place ran out of ribs. Had to take a star for that one. The pulled pork and chicken were both great, but the smoked turkey was the star of the show. All of the veggies were very well seasoned and flavorful. Definitely will try again, hopefully to get ribs.

Great experience on a Sunday afternoon! Customer service was good, food was very fast, and entrees were delicious!
Our favorites off the menu were the pulled pork, Mac and Cheese, cornbread, baked beans, sweet potato casserole, and Mississippi Mud Pie. Our kids really enjoyed the fried Catfish. My spouse and I prefer ours a little crisper, but we were happy that the kids ate all of their fish.

I always get the Smoked Half Chicken Platter and the dish comes with bbq sauce and white sauce ON THE SIDE! However this past time they put both sauces on the chicken. I don’t particularly care for their bbq sauce so I asked if I could have the chicken redone but without the sauce. I was told they would not redo it because I didn’t push the option for the sauce to be on the side. There is no option for the sauce to be on the side when you order this dish..why? Because it automatically comes on the side. I’ve never had the sauce put on my chicken. And all DoorDash offered me was $3?? Very upset!

Nice spot while visiting Montgomery. I didn’t want anything heavy so grabbed some wings. Perfectly smoked and the white sauce was so delicious. Hash brown casserole was tasty and the the cornbread was good. I tasted some of my daughters pork, I would have added bbq sauce and slaw but it was ok. The cheese grits and sausage were a hit. Will definitely stop by again when in town

This is an odd Moe’s. They don’t do any beef. I asked for the half chicken with a side of pulled pork for a 2 meat plate (which they don’t have a regular two meat plate). I also got red beans and rice and potato salad.
The chicken came pulled, not on the bone. The pork was probably the best thing I had. I’ve been to a few locations of this chain and they have all been significantly better than this one.
I’ll probably not try this place again when I’m town.

We discovered this treasure after leaving the Battle of the Bands at the University of Alabama, and we weren’t Disappointed! Our Waiter/Bartender (AJ ) was fantastic,and so was our food; he showed nothing but ultimate southern hospitality, which made our experience even more grand! 5 stars! Oh yea ! and the jalapeño cornbread is a must !!
