I work across the street from Moe’s & they are a big family. When I was pregnant, they stopped what they were doing to help me bring a pallet of inventory inside my shop. When there were some questionable people walking around, they called to let me know.
Not to mention their food is always fantastic. On weekends they bring the party. They’re just all around great!

Scooted up on my Lime rental (yes, I Lime everywhere, don’t judge) and parked it out front while I downed half a Bang Energy to prep for smoked meat greatness. Inside smelled like heaven—smoke, spice, and cornbread. The pulled pork was piled high, juicy, and dripping with flavor, the ribs fell right off the bone, and the sides tasted homemade in the best way. Staff were friendly and fast, and the vibe was laid-back, perfect for crushing a plate after cruising the city. Kept checking the window to make sure no one touched my scooter, but honestly, I think it was just as mesmerized by the smell as I was. Left full, buzzing on Bang, and grinning like I’d just discovered BBQ for the first time.

If you are anywhere near this place- do yourself a favor and get in here.
I ordered the pulled pork with collard greens, kettle chips and cornbread. This was the closest thing to “mom’s” cooking that I’ve ever had.
Edit- it LOOKS like there isn’t a lot of pork there… But there is plenty. Just a bit hidden by the (fantastic) cornbread

I traveled nearby here for business, happened to stop by for a quick bite. The pullpork was exceptional. my banana pudding was sweet and smooth like mayo.
I got a fresh batch of french fries, not sure if they fried those to order or we just got lucky. It was very crunchy, lightly salted with a little black pepper.

Not my favorite BBQ. The crawfish boil brought me back to give it another try. The boil was definitely different from any lower Alabama boil. The atmosphere and live music were great. It’s a nice location. The patio and outside bar make the outdoors pleasant.
