I visited this spot on a Sunday afternoon to get dinner for myself and my fiance because I didn’t feel like cooking at home myself. Plus I wanted to give it a try because of all the reviews I was seeing on social media were good. The lady at the front window took my order was friendly. I ordered catfish dinner and fried chicken dinner. She told me that it would be about 30 minutes until I get my food because they make everything fresh. The food came out about 30 minutes later. I ordered the catfish for myself and the chicken for my fiance. The fish was not good at all!!! I don’t believe it was catfish to begin with the breading fell off the fish as soon as I picked it up to eat it. And the fish had a mushy texture to not the texture of catfish. The cornbread and macaroni and cheese was really good tho but not so much the cabbage and sweet potatoes. I spent over $50 for it not to be good .

This establishment just pissed me off today!!! My bf placed an order from here on DoorDash for the first time. He went to go pick it up and found out that they gave our order to someone else. The lady at the window was super rude and told him that she don’t know what to tell him and slammed the window on him. I can’t even tell ya’ll how the food taste smh a waste of $50. Before giving out orders please make sure you’re giving it to the right person next time. I don’t even want try the food no more because of how rude they were. Horrible customer service!!

First time visiting, purchased Cornish hen dinner. Cornish hen was fried stuffed with Mac n cheese.The sides were okay but the meat was fried hard with a crispy crust and it was very dry. I was advised after calling the establishment that it depends on how they choose to cook the Cornish hen that day! First and last time visiting.

Hard to find good places to eat with good service in the area. So many places that are gone now and we are stuck eating fast food. Don’t pass this place up. I was greeted properly as I walked thru the door with amazing customer service and the food was even better. Literally the best Tripe sandwich I’ve ever had. Had to go back the next day to get another one. The burgers were thick and made with a good quality beef. I highly encourage you to stop by and support this small business. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered a steak Philly and by far the worse Philly I ever tasted. The bread was extremely dry and gave a stale pull to the bite as I ate it. The steak and peppers didn’t have any flavoring and the cheese on my fries were literally drowning the fries. Which made the plate itself soggy completely . I also ordered a side of mozzarella cheese sticks that did not look like the picture presented and they were as well completely dried out still had a cheese pull to it just dry and they had dry Parmesan salted on top which made it even more dry with no marinara sauce to complete it. I did however enjoy the ice cream and can tell the business have potential. Just wasn’t satisfied with what I ordered. I spent a total of $38 and feel I should have a remake or just simply refunded but however I will not cry over spill milk and hope that they can take my comments and do what they need with it.

I love their Lovie’s wings. And roll! If they threw little season on the fries. Awesome… The seafood platter very good. You must call that in about 30 mins ahead of time! They usually opened at 11am. I’m have to try the soul food on Sunday. No complaints. Just be careful getting out your car on Broadway… Because you know! City driving…They drive like their eyes behind their heads.
