Only place in town that allowed us to connect peacock on their tv’s and watch the premier league soccer game!!!
Wings were huge and greatly seasoned. I ordered the lemon pepper hot mix! Followed that up with their cheesesteak (light veggies) and tater tots. Got some of the best tots I’ve ever had.

We had lunch there Monday, 12/8/2025. There was one girl serving, and she was very sweet and attentive. The wings were good, the lemon pepper tart–like we like it! The jalapeno poppers were very good, you get plenty. We also got the chips and dips, which were salsa, queso, and smoky sauce, which is a sweet, tangy-flavored BBQ sauce, and it was good! The fries were straight cut and freshly made. The atmosphere was nice, LOTS of TVs, and a nice small crowd. Lots of regulars evidently as most knew each other. The bar looked well stocked. We would definitely go back.

We were told by locals this was a great place for wings so we went there. We asked to taste the sauce for wings and were told they don’t do samples,we’d have to buy them, which we did….but really? My mixed drinks were nasty, so bad I couldn’t drink it but was never offered another or to take it off our bill! We spent $90. and still tipped the lil gal $25.00…kinda felt bad for her but…Yall, in my 50+ yrs., I’ve NEVER been treated so rude…..maybe they don’t like tourists…?!? I WOULDNT SEND ANYONE HERE.

This place has been an awesome local hometown bar for the last couple of years and I have been a regular 4 to 5 nights a week for sometime now. Believe it or not folks come to a local bar after a hard day or to deal with things going on in their life, they pay and tip accordingly for someone to put a smile on their face or at least share a smile and give them some great service. Moral of the story is WE ALL have things going on in our life and no matter how good of a bartender you are you need to put your game face on especially for your regular customers. Thanks for the memories, I won’t be back!

I really can’t rate this place accurately because we never got a table or tried the food. The place is small and most tables and seats at the bar were occupied. (We had 4 adults and 2 kids in our party) There were 4 or 5 tables that were empty but had signs posted with the word, “POKER” on them. No one seemed interested in finding us a seat or explaining the POKER signs. I finally got a server’s attention and asked if we could sit at one of the unoccupied tables, labeled “POKER” and she said only if we were playing. Obviously they care more about making money via playing games than serving customers their menu! Kinda tells me that the food isn’t that great.

So first time here, we’re traveling from NY, and I always look for local bars to have a chill sip at and even this it’s lunchtime, place is pretty full and we see why, great bar service and not bad on wines at all and we ordered some pizza and mozzarella cheese squares just to try it out and very good, we both agree pizza is way better than the local pizzeria we tried the day before that had crazy high reviews and wasn’t good to us at all this place definitely makes good bar food and probably great restaurant style foods, definitely coming back when in the area

We had a great experience for a team lunch in between soccer games. I called a few days prior to ask if they could handle a big group. They were very friendly on the phone and we were able to make a reservation. I called the day of to confirm numbers. They had tables ready for us when we got there. Our server was fantastic. She let us know how she would handle ordering and kept updated on when taking care of drinks/orders, was attentive, and served and checked us out like a pro. Afterwards, several parents mentioned how great the experience overall was (both service AND food). If we are ever back in the area, we would def come back. Thanks so much!

All the bartenders are super friendly and do an amazing job of keeping up with everything you need. Food is great and prices accomodating.. Tuesday $9 wings and Wednesday $6 pizza.

I had been here to Modern Sports once before and had outstanding service, good meaty wings with delicious flavors and a fair price. I’ve been trying to find some other wing places around to see how they compared to that experience and haven’t found any. So I came back to see if they still were what I remembered…I really wanted those good flavorful meaty wings that I had previously. I ordered the wing lunch combo that has 6 wings and fries. They have several sauces and a few dry rubs to choose from. I decided to go with the Darn hot (the hottest they have and they use a different word than darn) and go with the server’s suggestion of Mango Habanero. My server Kirsten was awesome! If all restaurants had a server like her….there would be zero complaints on servers. She was a grown up version of a Chick-fil-A worker. Before my tea was empty, she had me a refill sitting on the table. It took a bit to get my order since it was being made fresh. The wings apparently have lost their meatiness unfortunately and have shrunk down to what everyone else has (not as small as Zaxby’s though). Although disappointed in the size, I soldiered on and tried the flavors. I was going to dig into the Mango Habanero first. The wings were hot, but the sauce was cold…not a good combo. The cold cooled the wings fast. It would definitely improved the experience if the sauce had been warmed prior to being put on the wings. They were decently covered in the sauce. Flavor…definitely good. Not much of the spicy/habanero flavor though…mostly mango. Would have been better if it had had a bit of spice. So next up was the darn hot wings. The sauce on these…warm the way it should be. Well….the bit that was there. The wings weren’t covered too well with it. There was a bit of a puddle of it so I would rub the wings in it first. Definitely not darn hot. The flavor I did get was good flavor, just no spice. It was at very best medium. The fries were cooked well and had the expected flavor. I’ve heard that the pizza and burgers are really good and I’d like to try them. Would I return? For sure! The outstanding service that Kirsten delivers and all makes up for it. Their prices are still fair with comparison to others around. Additionally, they offer a military discount.

Only one server at lunch. We just sat ourselves. Server (not bartender)finally came to our table after standing at bar. Then she finally went around to 3 other tables taking their orders before finally greeting us then getting our drink order for sweet tea. Philly sandwiches were good. Fried okra was good. The french fries were served cold. They brought a fresh batch. Unfortunately, they tasted cheap and freezer burnt. Thank you to the sweet bartender for bringing us our food. So much for bringing my hubby for the 1st time after telling him that the owners are the same as Steak and Ribs. Hoping this is a one time incident. Might be a good stop if you like sports.
