First experience was a positive one. Multiple young ladies taking orders at once. Very creative ice creams.
I enjoyed the strawberry shortcake ice cream with chunks of cheesecake, crumbled cake & plenty of strawberry topping. Layered beautifully, I really appreciate how each dessert looks ready for a photo.
Cozy little spot to eat with a few tables inside, and equally as many outside.
I would love to try more places in the area, but man, I can picture me coming here again for a vanilla & caramel creation with a chocolate cookie in it or something.

The stacker was great. The place was clean and inviting. The only downside was the 2 ladies working. Neither one said hello to us when we got there. So from an employee customer aspect it was not the most inviting experience.

Very good little ice cream shop. Love that they have a ton of options to choose from. Staff is also nice. It gets really busy here but I understand why. Certainly going back when I’m back in town. The cream was good! Looking forward to trying something new from there.

This is me and my kids favorite ice cream spot we have come on a hot summer day and we recently went for my son’s birthday and they are always good and delicious they’re not stingy with the toppings. The decor is so cute and I love that it’s woman owned. I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter from here last year and it was delicious, souch so that my sister hasn’t stop talking about it, so I will be grabbing her one for her birthday in June. As everyone knows, there are a lot of ice cream spots in st clair shores, I mean shoot we pass two other places on our way to modern cone! But modern cone is my FAVORITE! Their ice cream is always super fresh, the workers are always nice, and I love that this is a small business that keeps it real, sticks to their guns, and has a REAL personality! Truthfully one of the best coffees I’ve ever had! I come here frequently for ice cream, but have never tried the coffee, and it was a 10/10 ( and very reasonably priced). Also the branding/“scheme” of the store is absolutely unique, I love it!

We absolutely love it here! The ice cream and ice cream cakes are always incredible and so creative! We got our first ice cream cake here this past summer for my son’s 9th birthday, and the process was so easy. I really appreciated how the staff took the time to make my vision of what I wanted for the cake design come to life! Not to mention it was delicious! Highly recommend!

The prices are unnecessarily expensive but the biggest disappointment was ordering two peanut butter overloads online one without Nutella because of a hazelnut allergy. I put in the comments that it was because of the allergy and asked that they mark the one without Nutella. I picked the order up and unfortunately didn’t check until I got home but of course they were not marked. I called and was told the manager wasn’t in so there’s nothing they could do and to call back another day. That’s unexceptable to me for a business so they lost us. A shame because they started out well priced with a good product.
Edit: The order was May 9th, 2025. Haven’t gotten around to the review till now. As for giving a small business a chance, I did by calling. I was told there’s nothing they can do and to call another day. That’s unacceptable for an issue that could have ended me in the hospital or worse. Thank you for your reply but if your staff isn’t communicating with management on this type of issue then you have a bad workplace environment and that’s not a customers job to fix. Fixed the rating.
