First time in the Catskills and the restaurant in my hotel was closed due to an event being hosted. Found this on Google and was about 25 minutes drive away. Also didn’t realize so many places are closed on Wednesday! We ordered too much since we wanted to try. The stuffed mushrooms were great! Some cheese and meat was part of the breaded stuffing. The tomato soup was pretty good also. Couldn’t figure out the matter stringy meat that was in the soup. Crab cakes were quite good too. The fish taco was great. It is ahi seared with a black seasoned crust. It was half cooked. I normally don’t like uncooked fish but I couldn’t tell it was half cooked. The Asian chicken wrapped in lettuce was good too. It was a little sweet with some hint of ginger, topped with some crunchy noodles. I wanted duck so we tried the citrus duck with some home fries on the side. Duck wasn’t even warm and some of it was really gamey, but the other sections tasted fine. The skin wasn’t crispy. Didn’t like it. The seared scallops were good except it was a little on the salty side. It came with rice which was a little under cooked and spinach which was amazingly good. The last dish was shrimp and linguini. It was sour and wasn’t crispy. I understand why it was sour. They were trying to cancel out the heaviness of the dish since it is very oily. I’m not a fan of lemon shrimp. We didn’t have room for dessert. The service was great. All in all I would recommend this place as it seems to be the only good place I saw on Google.

We ate here for the first time tonight. The food, service and ambiance were all impeccable. The food cost is in line with the high quality so it is expensive!
The crab cakes appetizer are not large but they are divine, perhaps the best I’ve ever eaten.
My wife had a special, the seafood medley with crab, scrod, shrimp, scallops and part of a lobster tail. She loved it.
I also had a special, salmon with crusted crab which was also wonderful.
For dessert we shared a creme brûlée which again was awesome.
The service was provided by an expert waitress who was adept at anticipating our needs and was patient with us when we asked for asked for salt just after she delivered requested refills of water.
This is a special occasion place for us and I am looking forward to coming back.

Extremely disappointed since new owners, not the same quality and consistency as you would demand with fine dining. French onion soup was too watery,no delicate taste of cognac ,not enough onions,I had to add salt and pepper and still I could not finish the soup due to lack of flavor and ingredients, shrimp fettuccine was made from penne pasta, where is fettuccine noodle,?no creamy sauce, very bland ,chef has to work on sauces. Lamb chop was overcooked, I ordered medium but overcooked and no seasoning,no taste ,salt/pepper should be added to bring out delicate lamb flavor, borderlaise sauce was salty and you could not taste the delicate hints of red wine. Stuffed mushrooms was extremely soggy ,should use cremini instead of white mushrooms. Tonight was a miss, extremely disappointed, in today time with inflation/recession customer expect excellence plain and simple, excellence, consistency should be a priority!!also what happened to previous elegant decor and beautiful drapes that adorned certain parts of restaurant? The current decor is plain and cold. Must work on the finer points of warmth in the dining room.

What a wonderful place to spend the first night off I’ve had in weeks. We had an amazing dinner starting with drinks at the bar(compliments to Sean) right on through appetizers and mains. The most difficult part of the evening was closing the menu and making up my mind as to what I should have for dinner. Settled on the carbonara and it was just stellar! Not to worry I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu, because yes, it was that good. Can’t wait to be back.

Love the food, delicious and well made, very fresh. The staff are warm and inviting, the bartender is friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful! If you are near the front windows you might be able to see the movie too.

I’ve been here 3 times now and every visit has been fantastic! Their meals are wonderfully crafted; very fresh with awesome taste! The staff is flawless, I had Ashley as my waitress and she did a great job. From my perspective this place is very beautiful and very well managed. I very much enjoy this restaurant and will be back very soon! It is also located in a very gorgeous part of upstate NY where the atmosphere is blissful and the vibes are all positive. Also, their salmon dish is literally perfection, I’ve had it 3 times now!

Wifey and I had a wonderful meal here to celebrate a career move. The food was awesome. I had a Delmonico steak cooked to perfection and my lady had a pasta dish that was definitely cooked from scratch!! If you are in the Northern Catskills come check this place out. It’s a diamond in the rough !!

Chef owned restaurant with interesting menu, fabulous food, excellent service and ambiance. Welcoming owners and staff. Highly recommend making a trip. I’ve been there 2 times and looking forward to many more visits. Started the evening at the charming bar where Danielle crafted a delicious cocktail. We shared the eggplant appetizer and Caesar salad followed by Veal Modena and Fresh Pasta with Boar Bolognese. Danielle’s homemade tiramisu was the best I ever had! Prices are very reasonable for such quality and ample portion size.
