If you’re craving a pizza experience that hits every note—flavor, speed, service, and value—MOD Pizza delivers in spades. On my latest visit, I indulged in a fully loaded meaty pizza piled high with fresh roasted garlic. Every bite was a savory explosion: the meats were perfectly seasoned, the garlic added an aromatic punch, and the crust was thin, crisp, and just chewy enough to hold up under all those toppings. Not stopping there, I also tried one of their specialty pizzas, again loaded with every ingredient imaginable. The result? A festival of flavors, where each topping shined but nothing overwhelmed—MOD’s balance is impressive.
What truly sets MOD Pizza apart is their super-fast service. Even though the place was bustling, my pizzas were out of the oven and on my table in minutes, piping hot and picture-perfect. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made me feel genuinely welcome—no small feat when the line is out the door.
As a member of the military, I was also thrilled to receive a military discount, making the meal even more satisfying. MOD Pizza regularly honors veterans and active service members with special deals, and it’s clear they appreciate those who serve.
Whether you’re a meat lover, veggie fan, or just want to pile on every topping, MOD lets you build your dream pizza for one fair price, with no extra charge for extra toppings—a rarity these days. If you want a pizza that’s fast, fresh, and fully customizable, with service that makes you feel like a VIP, MOD Pizza is a must-visit.

I’m one of the peeps that comes in every Tuesday for DND club (not a part of it, just tag along in a bike, yall might know who I am). Anyways, I want to go ahead and commend this MOD Pizza, as every time I visit the lovely folks working there give top-notch service that puts other businesses around the area to shame. Additionally, the food is fantastic. Also, I want to recommend the mega cookie to the people coming here, as it is always warm, fresh, perfectly smoothly melted chocolate, and is bound to put a smile on anyone’s face whether it’s a good or bad day, regardless of how it’s baked. To finish, I want to thank the staff at MOD Pizza for their fantastic service and being fantastic people overall and I hope yall have a fantastic 2026!!

Serving gluten free crust and vegan cheese for our daughter AND cauliflower crust for me! Also, their salads are as amazing as you can imagine them to be. Service is always pleasant , too. Last, but not least, they have the GOOD ice .

I’ve been in line for over 20 minutes and still no one has helped me. The place isn’t even that crowded to justify the wait, but the service is incredibly slow and there’s no communication whatsoever. No one is explaining what’s going on or apologizing for the delay.

I like MOD Pizza, but experiences like this completely ruin the visit. If they’re understaffed or running behind, the least they could do is let the customers know. My time is valuable too.

I hope they improve their organization and service, because the food might be good, but the service is just as important as the pizza itself.

This is applicable for both online and in store orders.

Don’t expect them to have your food ready for pickup on time or even 10 mins after it’s due. Or 15.

Not the fort time for me, but I guess I give them a chance and then another and then another.

Pizza is okay. It’s the excruciating wait that kills the mood. I ordered my small order of 2 pizzas at 7:00 and was told it’d be ready by 7:30, guess what it’s 7:45 when I started typing this review standing in the store – because the food is nowhere near ready.

It’s not like it’s the cheapest pizza, or the service was the best, or on time. It’s just that there’s no other comparable option around here.

The staff behind the counter changes constantly- obviously they have an issue keeping their employees happy for more than a few months. Obviously the service sucks.

Don’t waste your time. I have wasted mine three times to learn a lesson from this. Learn from me.

I ordered 2 Cauliflower Pizza Crusts.

I advised them they had burnt the crust.

Unfortunately, per personnel, crusts is meant to be burned as it will not cook.

I have tried other MOD locations and they don’t “Burn” the crusts.

This is false, as the the other Cauliflower Pizza Crust we ordered wasn’t burned.

Attached photos will confirm.

1 Burned.
1 Not Burned.

All I was requesting was for a non burnt pizza that I paid for and nothing else.

Failed in quality and poor customer service.

Pizza chains are abundant when you live in a large metropolitan area. We have more in the Houston area than I can count, and I try to seek out some of the lesser- known pizza places whenever I can because they often serve tastier pizza pies. A recent search for specialty pizzas led me to MOD Pizza.

MOD Pizza is, in fact, a chain establishment but it doesn’t have the name recognition of the better-known chains, so it almost seems like a local pizza place. They serve pizzas, salads, a dessert or two, and cheese bread. They also serve beer and wine, which is a definite plus.

I have ordered pizzas and cheese bread when I have visited here and I have found the cheesy garlic bread to be quite good. It would match really well with an Italian food dish like spaghetti or lasagna. It makes for a good appetizer and it was a nice warm- up food to the main course.

With the pizzas, they are thin crust and they are distinguished by their colorful names, like Jaspar, Tristan, etc. They have a thick crust option, too, which I have yet to try. I have found that I like the vegetarian pizzas the best and consumers will be happy to know that they have many such pizzas. The meat pizzas are okay, but some of them, like the Caspian, which is a bbq chicken pizza are a little less flavorful than I would prefer. The dough- like crust is decent enough but the toppings on the Caspian are a little too scant for my tastes.

The service at this MOD Pizza location is good and I like the spacious interior and outdoor seating. They do have good pizzas, including a mini size option which is great for an individual serving. When I consider all factors, MOD Pizza is a good place for pizza pie and it easily equals or exceeds the pizza from the better- known chains.

We ordered one standard mad dog then sat at a table near the emergency exit. We somehow did not hear our name called for 20 minutes (being conservative). Mind you it’s not a packed room today at this time so my son went to check. He then found the pizza already ready and been sitting there for some time. I didn’t expect a lukewarm pizza so I went to ask one employee and was told our name was called three times. Surprised, I told her where I sat and I couldn’t sense a single care given to the situation by the employee I spoke to. I was with my son so I left it at that. I know I am not coming back.

1 person making pizzas during rush dinner time. It took an hour for me to get 2 pizzas. And when I rang out they did not give the veterans discount to my spouse although it clearly said it veterans and military spouse.

That was all before I even got to eat my food. I asked for my pizza to be well done and it was borderline undercooked. I don’t know if they were rushing because they couldn’t keep up and it was taking so long. But it was not good. It was a reminder of why I drive a little further to the MOD on Fry Rd.
