We bring our friends and family here all the time and everybody enjoys. The service is ALWAYS outstanding. The GM Tory is always so amazing, asks how we are and makes sure we are enjoying everything. She’s an absolute doll. We have a 15 month old and we have been taking him here since he was a baby with us and they’ve always gone out of their way to make us feel welcomed with him and not bad for having our little guy tagging along with us. As soon as we walk in and get to the host stand somebody is grabbing a high chair. The week of his first birthday we went in and we were talking to our server about it and she brought out a scoop of ice cream with a candle at the end of our dinner.
When it’s warm out they have a BEAUTIFUL patio which is also super family friendly.
Last night we went for burger night, which is an AMAZING deal and so delicious every time. Now that we have a toddler who is eating full meals we asked our server if there was anything kid friendly and she suggested a the grilled cheese. They made a kid sized portion for him with a huge side of fresh fruit. He ate the whole thing and we all left happy. It was a great night. I hardly ever have it in me to write a google review but I had to share how much we love this place and how they take care of us every time we go in!
My favorite part of the meal was our appetizer: Buffalo Oyster Mushroom Bites with the most incredible breading, texture, and flavor. Literally decadent… we are constantly amazed how mushrooms can magically imitate meat in the best way.
For entrees, I had a pretty simple Black Garlic Caesar salad with grilled chicken, but it was mighty tasty with blistered tomatoes, manchego cheese, and nduja croutons.
My partner enjoyed the Hot Halibut Sammie with a perfectly fried filet complete with smoked hot honey sauce, hot sauce aioli, provolone, and a warm fennel slaw on potato bread. A splash of fresh lemon was all we needed to take the flavor profile over the edge.
Esoteric has a pretty awesome draft beer list although quite a few of the ones we requested were kicked. Still…service was great and the food and portions were well worth the slightly above-average price tag. I hear the Happy Hour is a must.

The duck tacos were generously filled and very tasty.
Pork chop had a nice flavor to it with green beans and sliced potato.
Only surprising thing was the beer price…
Came in at $1/oz which outprices local competition. A neighboring brewery gave a pint of beer for $6-7, where a 14oz serving was $14. Felt a little bit ripped off for what’s simply a draft beer.
I’d definitely go again, but my beverage choice may be scrutinized a little closer next time.
Esoteric is a win any day.
That new dirty martini…
The best I can describe it is pickle juice quarter water (iykyk), slightly spicy with olives & vodka….or… just, dirty, sluty & filthy
I always have a good experience and the wait staff is seriously the best and so kind and really attentive.
The food is fresh and the menu is seasonal so there is typically something new and different to try.
The aesthetic is on point. Such great lighting and wall art by Roxy Hall… go check it out.
She’s the best.
We love it here. The bartenders are great. The food is great. It’s not even really loud which is so nice.
The bathrooms are cool too.
