Let me tell you my boy Caden is a magician when putting these pizzas pies together. And I really did try to make it extremely difficult for him, asking for multiple toppings. But he just looked at me and laughed and said, bring it on old man. Best damn pizza guy in Columbia. Thanks Mod. This kid really knows his art and deserves a fat raise!!!

Me and my son stopped in for lunch this afternoon. My son had Bacon, and Pepperoni on his pizza. He really enjoyed it. I had a lil bit of everything on mine, for the sauce I had barbecue instead of mozzarella and it was really good. The service was good, and very nice atmosphere to dine in also.

This MOD Pizza is located in a shopping area within walking distance to a Barnes and Noble, World Market, and Target. So after shopping at those three stores, we walked over to the MOD Pizza for dinner. We got MOD pizzas, where we could customize our own pizzas. I got tomato sauce as the base, and mozzarella cheese and feta cheese. At first, I felt that they did not put a lot of mozzarella on, so I asked for some extra and they sprinkled on a little more. I got spinach, mild sausage, and pepperoni as well. They put it in the oven and we waited about 3 minutes for it to finish. The pizza was amazing. It tasted just how I wanted it to. We also got drinks and we absolutely love to mix the blackberry lemonade with sweet tea. I will say it was pretty warm in the restaurant, which I guess could be attributed to the pizza oven, but it wasn’t too bad for the short time we were there. Workers were super nice, though the last step of the final sauce on the pizza was not asked about when we picked our pizzas up. That’s not a huge issue though.

I was here twice this past weekend and both times left very dissatisfied. To start both times was “greeted” by the same guy w glasses and the worst attitude ever— he very clearly HATES his job. Just starts barking questions at you and doesn’t even give you a second to think. We ordered pizzas from their menu board and I guess they don’t know how to make them bc not only were they wrong both times (total of 4 pizzas) but the same guy was actively squinting to look at the description on the board. On one they swapped what was supposed to be feta for blue cheese and I am an avid blue cheese HATER so that was an awful discovery. Just overall completely bad vibes surrounding customer service and trying to get an accurate pizza. My one takeaway is to just not make that one dude the first person you interact with because he set the tone and then it just kept going down from there. I guess walking down the line and customizing is the way to go but I don’t know if I could handle the attitude from that server the entire way down.

Food is great! BUT your little short white manager had a bit of road rage the other day and threatened to kill me!!!!! I’ve been to different MOD locations in the past and have had great experiences. Don’t think I’ll ever go to one again after this latest experience. The choice of toppings is very limited compared to in the past, and even more so when compared to Blaze. Both of our pizzas were so skimpy. I felt as though the girl preparing them had never had a pizza! She only put the sauce in the center of the pizza, hardly any toppings, minimal cheese. I had to ask for more of each topping 3-4 times. I had to ask her to extend the sauce and toppings beyond the center of the pizza. I was basically telling her how to made it, and even then she would only add a tiny bit extra each time I asked. Not sure if this is shrink-flation but it was ridiculous! We should’ve just walked out. Lastly the pizza was undercooked. Save your time and money, go elsewhere. Only positive was that the restaurant was clean.

I had an amazing experience at MOD Pizza today! I wish I had gotten the name of the team member who made my BBQ pizza—it was absolutely perfect. You could tell he took pride in what he was doing, and the flavor was spot on. On top of that, every single person I interacted with was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The customer service was top notch from start to finish. Definitely one of the best visits I’ve had!
