I didn’t know happy hour ended at 8pm and I was seated at 7:58pm. They still honored the happy hour special for the first round of margaritas and it was greatly appreciated! The food was AMAZING. The staff was nice and everyone was so attentive and made sure we were fine. I will definitely return

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would.
Absolutely disgusting experience from start to finish. The waitress was beyond rude and had no sense of professionalism, and the so-called “manager” (who clearly was just pretending to be one) wasn’t any better.
To start, my tortilla chips fell on the table and instead of offering to bring a fresh bowl, the waitress tried to scoop them back into the original bowl like that was acceptable. Completely unhygienic and nasty.
Then we discovered a fly in our food—yes, a FLY. When we pointed it out, not only did no one apologize, but they also tried to take just the cheese off the tab, even though the fly was in the cheese. We told them we didn’t want any of the food at that point. The food was barely touched, but they still had the nerve to make us pay for our drinks.
This place is dirty, the staff is rude, and they clearly don’t care about basic food safety or customer service. I will NEVER be back and honestly wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Our first dining experience at Moctezumas Mexican Restaurant was great! The environment was open, inviting, and had a rich cultural vibe that immediately drew us in. From the start, the staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcomed.

Our waitress was wonderful—very nice, patient, and accommodating. She took the time to explain the menu thoroughly, ensuring we understood all the options. When our food arrived, it was freshly prepared, hot, and looked amazing. Every bite tasted fresh and delicious, making for a memorable meal.

We are definitely hopeful to return in the future and enjoy more of what Moctezumas has to offer.

The food was delivered quickly. It was good but the seasoning on the ground beef was different. It seemed a bit sweeter than some places. The street corn and chimichanga were my favorite. The server was sweet but I think she was new. She kept our drinks filled but the wrong food was brought to the table at first. I thought the prices were reasonable. We’ll visit again.

Our favorite classic Mexican restaurant in town! I have never had anything that wasn’t delicious. I love the Polo loco (grilled chicken and veggies smothered in queso) but also the shrimp fajitas are incredible and when I want something lighter, the chicken soup has so much flavor and always hits the spot.
The staff is all friendly and the food comes out fast and fresh!

It was alright, but it’s definitely gone downhill since moving to it’s new location. The service is not good, every time I’ve gone I’ve had to sit there for a number of minutes before somebody notices that I haven’t been served, and then has to fetch somebody down to wait on my table. In addition, they only check on your table 2-3 times while you’re there. The food and drinks aren’t terrible, but it’s not as good as some of the other Mexican restaurants in town. I go to Moctezuma’s once or twice a year, which is disappointing because I used to love it. Oh well.

Food was pretty good! However, a bit pricey in my opinion for a mexican restaurant. For 2 kids and an adult, I paid $55 that was before a tip. The queso was a bit watery and the “happy hour” margarita hardly no alcohol which was expected. The dining area kinda small. Overall, the chicken taco salad I had was tasty and seasoned well, the shell fresh and crunchy. I will return to try other things but more than likely I will go by myself. $$

The food is great. Salsa is excellent. The problem is it’s not run as well as it should be and is a consistent issue. The food brings me back occasionally, but with take out orders they will regularly give inaccurate times. Just tell me if it’s gonna be 30 minutes— don’t tell me it will be 15 minutes to sound quicker and have me standing around inside for 15 minutes. And also, they just forget items too often and it’s a bummer when you pay for it. Just inspect your order there before you leave and make sure they’re not leaving out what you pay for

Always a great experience at Moctezuma!
We enjoyed a party of 10 complete with great food, cake, & a birthday sombrero!

Food is consistent, the Mexican street tacos are authentic and grilled meats are on point. Everything else is what you would expect—no shade. You can get big beers, good salsa, and good queso!
