The place was clean and the donuts were so fluffy and nice. We had never had mochi donuts before. Not even sure what a mochi donut is tbh but i was amazing. We tried one of each flavor. I got the thai tea and the little one got the taro tea. The only negative thing i can say about this place is the teas are small. I wish they served them in bigger sizes! other than that? We had an amazing time and really liked the vibe. Id definitely come back here

I visited Mochinut in Leesburg, VA, and overall, it’s a fun spot with a vibrant atmosphere. While I’m personally not a big fan of their donuts mainly because I prefer made-to-order donuts without icing. I can see why others enjoy them for their chewy texture and colorful toppings.

The Korean corn dogs, however, are definitely worth trying. My go to favorites are the ramen with hot dog and half cheese, as well as the potato version both are absolutely delicious and perfectly crispy. The Cheetos flavor corn dog, though, has been a bit of a letdown on both occasions I tried it, as it tends to be soggy rather than firm like the others.

The boba drinks were my biggest disappointment. My milk tea was much sweeter than the average boba I’ve had, to the point that it overpowered the tea flavor. Honestly, since there’s a boba shop right next door, I’d recommend grabbing your drinks there instead.

On the bright side, the shop itself is beautiful inside clean, colorful, and welcoming. The cashier was young, vibrant, and super friendly, which added to the overall experience. While I wouldn’t come here for drinks, I’ll definitely keep coming back for my favorite Korean corn dogs.

Almost forgot to add, they’re pet friendly. They allowed us to bring my yorkie inside. She also tried the hot dog and enjoyed it.

Definitely worth trying!

Visited for the 2nd time. Tasted great but the hot cheetos were soggy as usual. Probably the cheetos meet with high heat causing the sogginess. 2 other hotdogs that we chose were amazing. Potato & original hotdogs. Great combination with ketchup and mustard. Other than that, tasted great and will definitely come back.

This was my 1st time here.

I originally walked in here thinking they were the same one I visited in Fair Oaks Mall. Oops. I was thinking they had a selection of hot drinks….I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have a slightly larger drink selection than the $2.00 coffee, especially to go with the donuts! I was super excited to get a hot dog!! I chose the original with half cheddar/half mozzarella. It was very good.

Isabella was very friendly and inviting as soon as we walked in. However, they are either backed up with the cooking or understaffed.. The cooking time took a while, and Isabella had to ring up customers as well as make the drinks, serve the food, etc.

There were a few tables available inside, as well as outdoor seating a few stores down. They are on the same block/building as Altitude, so there is a parking garage around the corner, as well as some parking in the front of the storefronts.

Would I return? Absolutely for sure

I had a friend who used to live in Japan visit me, and she wanted to get these doughnuts. They were delicious! I don’t normally eat that much sweets, but they were not overly sweet or frosted. They had a perfect chewy texture. This is a really cute little storefront as well. I ate the doughnut before I got a photo, but they are cute!

We have been anticipating the opening of Mochinut since we saw the coming soon sign go up and they did not disappoint. Soft and tender on the inside with a little bit of chew to the bite, mochinuts are a combo of the best aspects of Mochi and donuts. We sampled a half dozen flavors: plain glazed, strawberry pocky, blueberry, chocolate crisp, yuzu, and churro. Our favorite out of these was churro with chocolate crisp and blueberry running a close second and third. Least favorite was yuzu for the lack of distinguishable flavor – tasted like the plain glazed basically.
I know it’s still the soft opening, so I’m only docking one star for the incredibly disorganized service. We only ordered mochinuts, but instead of having someone dealing just with getting those orders completed and out the door we had to stand around for nearly 20 minutes and wait for the servers to put together complete orders with drinks and other food items, one at a time. The shop was crammed with people also waiting for the same reason. There are plenty of staff in the shop, so the issue is clearly organization – please put one person on drinks, one on mochinuts and one on the cash register to keep things moving!
The mochinuts are good, so we will be back – hopefully by then the service kinks will be worked out.

We were super excited to see the Mochinut open up in the Village at Leesburg! The doughnuts are great just like at their Centreville location! The service was very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back here and trying out the different flavors of doughnuts.
