11/23/25: not gonna lie. We visited Mochi Fresh when it first opened. I cannot remember the specifics but something about that visit put us off — we never went back. I think one of the drinks tasted like it had gone bad. Regardless, fast forward to this particular day.
We had stopped at the Cornish Pasty for lunch & wanted boba. We decided to give Mochi another go. This visit was much better. The drinks were more flavorful, they had some mochi balls w/ peanut & red beans that I love.
They have a couple kiosks to place an order. I think there’s something about saving money, or getting a free drink if you use them — but don’t quote me on that because when we tried it, something went wrong & we got frustrated so just walked up to the counter to place our order.
We have since visited them a couple more times & both were pleasant experiences. As with all the other boba places we have visited, I have just one wish: that all of them would allow us to bring in our own glass mason jars to use so we can limit the amount of plastic. Yeah yeah, I’m sure some of you will say “if you’re so concerned about plastic, STOP enjoying boba drinks”, to which I reply “that’s just crazy talk”. 🙂

Truly, one of the two best Boba making places in Arizona. This place has a lot more options though. The fruit teas are real fruit, and the quality and price are just unbeatable. And you can bring your receipt into birdtalk next door and get 15% off your order!

I came here specifically because they advertised making their own boba in-house. Honestly, the texture wasn’t as chewy or fresh as Yi Fang’s. It felt more like the generic, mass-produced pearls you find elsewhere.
The menu is a bit all over the place with snacks and too many options, making it feel like they’re trying to do everything at once without mastering one thing. I’m honestly surprised by the high ratings.

We love this place!!
They have authentic taro boba which is pretty rare. This is much better than the powdery / synthetic taro you usually get, which is a purple color and is not made from the real vegetable.
They truly make their boba with quality ingredients which we appreciate, and they have many options if a milky boba isn’t your cup of tea – the peach green tea refresher was delicious and I would order again!
10/10 our favorite boba spot in Tempe

The drinks here are quite good. They make the boba in the shop. We ordered the Strawberry Bubble Milk Tea, Green Apple Tea, and Fancy Milk Tea. The young lady working there made sure we had the right sweetness levels in case it was too much for our kids. They have some large cartoon characters for you to take pictures with and there’s an area to buy little trinkets and plushies.

I honestly never thinking I would come back here. I did online asu and came a year ago. One year later here I am and all I could think about was coming back here. It was just as amazing and tasty as it was a year ago. Im so sad I live in Cali so no more fresh mochi for me. Seriously this place is so good.

We had the caramel milk tea here and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing! The flavors were well balanced, and the boba had a perfect texture. I really enjoyed the drink and would definitely come back. I think a bit more attention to the interior decoration could elevate the atmosphere and make the place even more inviting for new customers. Overall, great experience!

Best bubble tea shop in Arizona! We used to go to other bubble tea places, but now we only come here. The drinks taste so fresh, great portion with lots of boba. The Coconut Cat Jelly was adorable and delicious! The coconut flavor was a hit with our kids with it’s delicate texture. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shop was very clean with a great photo op as you enter.
