Def will go again.
I hit the 10 on the first try i was surprised and happy It definitely made my day just doing that and it can for you too
My only thing is they been open for a short time and they do have good stuff and staff is very friendly,… I wished they had abit more choices like 2-3 more at least, and the baba felt abit flat but we will try other types and see if they hold up better and will update!
The staff was super friendly! They had recommended the Ube iced coffee which was delicious (and pretty! Very Instagram worthy) and I ordered three of each donut. DON’T JUDGE ME!
The coffee and each doughnut were delicious. The Ube iced coffee has a rich, almost chocolatey and slightly nutty profile and was not overly sweet. I am not super into sweets and the coffee was a nice contrast to the doughnuts.
The flavor of each doughnut was great and the texture is super interesting (my favorite part). They’re light, airy, not at all oily and they have a bit of a satisfying chew without being gummy. Kinda hard to describe but I would assume they’re called mochidoh due to the mochi-like mouth feel of the doughnuts (duh). It was a pretty warm day and waiting to try the frosted doughnuts until I reached Elm Park resulted in a finger licking situation but I didn’t mind looking like a crazy person at Elm Park. When in Rome, right? The shape and texture of the donuts make them a pull-apart and sharable treat but I wouldn’t have been mad if they came with those little wooden fork pokey things to make munching/sharing a little easier. My favorite was the churro with the strawberry shortcake a close second. Definitely a unique doughnut experience and I highly recommend popping in to experience them for yourselves.
My other experience with mochi donuts comes from a location in Allston, so I’m not sure which one is more true to the traditional texture. I will say that the ones from Mochi Doh are softer, and more chewy than their competitor. It is not easy to rip off a piece to share with a friend – you basically need a knife if you don’t want to make a mess. Other than that, every flavor I grabbed (churro, ube x oreo, winter wonderland, s’mores, fruity pebbles) really knocked it out of the park. Will definitely be coming back again for a different rotation.
Parking wasn’t great. Harding Street in Worcester is busy, and the street parking fills up quickly. Thankfully I was able to drive a several seconds northeast and find a spot along Pond Street. Walking a couple extra minutes wasn’t the end of the world.
The interior is fairly minimal with nothing worth noting. Just step in, place your order, and be on your merry way. I don’t think there was any seating, and none of the posted images so far suggest that there are.
Overall, I’m happy to see there’s finally an option for these awesome donuts outside of Boston!
