The Sushis and Sashimis are really good and fresh here. We have been here several times with family and friends. Even the noodle dishes are authentic. Mochi has a lovely ambience and the service is good. We sit here for hours to eat, drink and chat! Bremen-Habenhausen has now a good place for fusion dining!

We had a rice dish with shrimps. Whereas the ingredients as such weren’t bad, the sauce definitely was. We ordered a dish labelled “pikant” which is German for spicy and/or hot. However, the sauce tasted like water with a bit of soy sauce and if I had had a salt dispenser on the table, I would have probably emptied it on my plate. The sauce is the most important aspect about such a dish and you definitely have to get that right.* When I told the waitress about this experience in a neutral tone, she tried to convince me that “pikant” didn’t stand for spicy and/or hot. Being a German, I still kind of feel like I know what that German word means.
*I’m not a veteran cook but I can make a much better Asian sauce in the spirit of “pikant”.
