Great atmosphere
Very sluggish service.
Right from getting the table ( place was almost empty when we reached but the person on the door took really long to let us in and get us a table) to placing the order to getting our food it was all too slow. They served 2 out of 4 dishes we ordered and there were no forks or knives given, by the time fork and knife were given food was already cold.
The 3rd dish ( a rice bowl) took almost 30 minutes ro reach our table. We canceled the 4th item ( another rice bowl) as it was still not made more than 40 minutes of ordering.
Twice requested for water to get it. They didnt give even water after 1st request.
The server didn’t appear unfriendly but seemed like the place had no sense of time and service.
Food tasted good. Service left a horrible taste

We visited Greengos Cantina in St. John and had a great experience if you enjoy Mexican food with a Caribbean twist. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, with good music that makes you want to stay longer. The tacos and other Mexican dishes are very flavorful, the drinks are well made, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It’s a perfect spot to stop after a day at the beach and enjoy time with your partner or friends while exploring the island. The mango shrimp was delicious. I enjoyed the fun popcorn Mexican corn. Watch your teeth though. The burrito was delicious but like many places on the island people dont write orders down which makes for many errors. I asked for no rice only beans.

Great vibe in a great part of town. This whole area has a great vibe. Usually there is live music going and there is a tap room. Greengos has a fun vibe, great food too! They have a great happy hour!

We enjoyed an early dinner outside overlooking the road and shopping area. We started off with chips and salsa, which came with 2 kinds of salsa, both of them very tasty. My husband ordered the pork enchiladas and raved about them the whole time he was eating. I enjoyed the chicken cantina bowl. Waitress kept our drinks refilled and was very friendly. The restrooms were very clean. The restaurant is in the Mongoose Junction shopping center, which has parking and many shops. We highly recommend it!

Amazing atmosphere. Sky high bar. Small plates were enough for lunch. Prices were reasonable for a tourist area. Balcony or inside seating. Service was great, and food was fast. Great, Caribbean-style Mexican food. Restroom located inside the restaurant. Parking is a bit difficult.

Food was very good. Chips were amazing, so were the chicken tacos. They got one order wrong BUT immediately rectified it and were like its our mistake!! Sort of shocked, in today’s world we were ready for attitude but instead Tyreek was AWESOME!!!

We enjoyed visiting a couple of times while on St John. The food was great. Our wait staff answered my questions and were very nice. Their service was excellent. We enjoyed drinks from the bar and the foods. Pork tacos were excellent as was the chicken burrito I ordered the second visit. We are always greeted when we arrive and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
