We frequent this restaurant as takeout for office meetings. It is a casual option for middle eastern food and the quality is consistent. My rating of “4” reflects relative to other similar restaurants.
While we enjoy kubideh kabob, chicken kabob and ground chicken kabob — I find the chicken is always the most tender. The basmati rice is very tasty as well.
The pita bread is very fresh and tasty. The hummus is a good addition to the bread.
All in all a reliable and good choice for a casual middle eastern meal

We often come here to have our favourite Joojeh kabab. We tried their Joojeh kabab, kubideh kabab, ground lamb kabab sandwich. But among them Joojeh is our personsl favourite. I think the lamb kabab sandwich is pretty blend and needs some flavour which also goes for kubideh kabab too. We also tried their rollet and it tastes good.
They have lunch specials which is different for each day. On Tuesday they serve Baghaala Polo which is lamb shank with Basmati rice. That is really delicious. All their meats are halal except the gyro section.

I wanted to share some feedback about my recent pickup experience today around 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, the staff member working at that time did not provide good customer service. I noticed that while he was friendly and polite to some customers, he was dismissive and unwelcoming when helping me, which left me disappointed.
On the other hand, I also want to recognize the young lady who was there she was very kind and helpful, and I appreciated her professionalism.

If you are looking for some middle eastern style fast food then this is the place to go. You can order it person or order online ahead as well. On the website, after you order it says it will take 30 to 35 minutes. However, I felt like that was too slow from what I usually know how fast they can prepare the food. So I called and one of their nice employee explained that they usually can prepare faster so told me to start driving there soon. They are kind. The food was already packed up and ready to go. We ordered beef and lamb combination with half salad and rice. They were so good. Pita was awesome, sauce, and dressings were great. I would recommend here =)

This was my first coming to Moby Dick, my has been obsessed with this particular spot in Fairfax and wouldn’t stop telling me to come try it, so I gave it a go. I am so glad I did, the food and customer service was absolutely amazing!! The cleanliness of the restaurant could improve a bit but other then that, the presentation of the food, the taste, the temperate everything was delicious! Will be returning customer moving fwd

My wife and I visited this Iranian restaurant for the first time today, and it was truly a wonderful experience.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were exceptionally polite and well-trained.
We were warmly welcomed by Reza and Alfredo, the managers, whose friendly smiles and positive energy made our visit even more enjoyable.
Upon their recommendation, we ordered the Super Combo with lamb and salmon kebabs, along with a hummus appetizer and homemade iced tea. Everything was outstanding — it was the best Middle Eastern cuisine I have had in a long time.
The restaurant is very clean, offers plenty of seating, and has unlimited free parking right in the heart of Fairfax City.
We look forward to returning every week
