Responding to your response – sorry that’s not valid I have driven food from NYC all the way to PA (4hrs) and the food was still good. A little 30 mins from the Uber driver has nothing to do with the stale tasteless food you served. Noodles don’t turn rock hard in 30 mins or even an hour and the “mac and cheese” was terrible

First time trying Jamaican food and everything tastes really great, even the sides! We tried the jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtail – the meat were all very tender and seasoned well! Also tried their Jamaican soda, tastes really good as well! Even my kids loved every bite and loved the soda! It is like a hole in the wall, simple place but with really great food! Highly recommend this place! The owner is really nice as well! Will definitely keep coming back here when craving for oxtail or goat meat!

I get the Jerk chicken from here at least once a week. The Jerk chicken is the best I’ve had from a restaurant in this town. The rice and peas and cabbage is very good as well. I do feel like the price is on the higher end for the portion size. But i don’t mind paying the price because i think the flavor is the most authentic around here. (I used to always travel to Winchester to get Authentic Jerk Chicken). I’ve had the beef patties from here twice. I do not like them.

My friend was visiting from out of town, so we stopped in for some jerk chicken and oxtails. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor! The service was excellent too—friendly and attentive.

I hate to leave this review but I must warn others of this salesman’s tactics. I went for the first time yesterday and ordered curry chicken, rice & peas, and Mac & cheese. I was so excited when I saw festival on the menu. The salesman hyped it up and even offered to sell it to me at a discount price. He mentioned that they’re some of his best sellers and they’re usually sold out despite there being at least half a dozen on display (I should’ve known right then that something wasn’t right). I got home and took a bite and when I tell you I almost broke my tooth! They were hard as a rock! It felt like I was biting into a hard pretzel. I should’ve known because he even told me that he hadn’t even heard of festival until a few years ago and someone had to tell him how to make it. Festival is supposed to have a crispy exterior but soft and doughy on the inside. Never will I order them again from this restaurant and I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. Also, I noticed that after he made my plate, he went in the back and put it into some type of heating device (sounded like a microwave) which lets me know that the food is just sitting out and not being kept warm. The curry chicken barely had any sauce on it and the rice & peas were dry. The mac & cheese was decent. Judging by other’s reviews, it seems like he will say anything to sell his food. Overall, my experience was disappointing.
