What a fantastic Bakery and an incredible story behind it! Owner is super friendly and clearly loves what he does for so long. The apple and pear pie was delicious and the Irish soda bread was amazing! One of my favorites is the mini chocolate babka. A must visit when you’re in the neighborhood!

We have started coming here from Nassau county 13 years ago., their fresh pies, and pastries are always fresh, delicious and better than anywhere else! It’s a small mom and pops business, staff is very accommodating and super friendly.. It’s truly a hidden gem!

This is THE place to go if you want high-quality pastries that are amazingly delicious.
The cherry turnover and apple strudel are to die for. We chatted with the owner and baker, who was the former head pastry chef at the Garden City Hotel.
Warning: Be prepared to ditch the diet!

We went back for their crusty pies and found an amazing apple almond tart. The pies are actually filled with real fruits not the junk starchy mix. Got some Halloween cookies too!
The owner took the time to speak with us and gave us a bit of history of Junda’s.

Judah’s Pastry Crumb in Jamesport has some genuinely delicious baked goods, their pastries are rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything I’ve tried, from croissants to seasonal tarts, has been high quality and super fresh. Second, the hours are extremely limited. It feels like every time I want to stop by, they’re closed. Whether it’s weekdays, afternoons, or off-season, they just don’t seem to be open consistently, which makes it frustrating if you’re not a local keeping track. Also while the price is a little steep, the baked goods are freshly made with quality so I can understand it.

$31 for 4 cookies, 2 hammentaschen and 2 donuts. Cookies were awful, donuts were at least a day old, probably 2, very hard on the outside. Flavor was awful. No one comes to the counter unless you ring the bell, owner comes out in a filthy shirt, no prices listed. Don’t mind paying for quality items, these were probably the worst we’ve ever had, store brands are better. Baffled by the good reviews.

We received a box of their cookies as a hostess gift. They were delicious. The assortment of cookies all had slightly different flavors and textures as compared to every other long island bakery. It’s quite an enjoyable and refreshing change. My compliments to the pastry chef. I wish they were located closer to home.
