While MOB Grill is a salute to Marco’s fondness for gangster movies, the MOB stands for Marco’s Onion Burgers. Marco began making fried-onion burgers because of love. Love of all things Oklahoma and love of a woman who hailed from the fried-onion burger capital of the world (His wife Meredith from El Reno). Before char-pressing onion to beef, they add Marco’s secret marinated onions which cleans up the onion’s flavor and makes them standout. Marco followed the wisdom he learned from his uncle, the legendary Ed Thomas, dearly departed founder of iconic Big Ed’s Hamburgers using mustard on the bun instead of butter. The hand-cut fries are blanched in oil then fried to perfection upon order. Buns come fresh from La Baguette Bakery.

Stopped by the Mob Grill because of grandson’s recommendations for his birthday dinner. Nice atmosphere inside the Parlor building, that also houses other restaurants. THE menu was mostly hamburgers and fries. The burger was adequate but the fries lacked flavor and were not crispy ,but sort of over cooked and somewhat soft. The location helped with the night not being a waste. This is downtown restaurant and very accessible from the highway. For me I will probably not eat there again ,but I’m sorta picky. Price were on the high side.

We had to try MOB grill, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a classic burger and a patty melt, and both were fantastic. The burger was incredibly juicy and had great flavor, and the patty melt was equally delicious. The fries, unfortunately, tasted like they were cooked in old or slightly burnt grease, which was a bit of a letdown. But honestly, the burgers were so good that we’d still come back to try more.

I had an amazing meal here. Everything came out hot and there was SO much food. Every time I come here I can never eat everything, which is good because then I have leftovers!

Good food. We really liked the homemade tots. The locations shared drink and napkin could use some attention. Rt beer was clear and had to dump it and no napkins. Would definitely eat here again.

The burger and fries were good, but $40 for two baskets? Wow! Not somewhere I would go for lunch all the time.

I was sent forth upon a noble voyage to seek the Perfect Burger. The flavors did strut bravely upon my tongue, bold and well-seasoned, yet the fabled burger-gem did cunningly evade me. Thus I wipe my hands upon my cloak and ride onward…still hungry, still hopeful, and ever in quest. ⚔️

There are so many options when it comes to an onion burger, but one of the OG spots is definitely MOB Grill. I have been enjoying their food since the first days of their food truck! Now in the Parlor location it is so easy to get a quick delicious meal. The burgers are great, but their unique fries are some of my favorite in the city. I got the sliders with fries and they give you plenty of fries! This is a must spot in Downtown OKC! Enjoy!

Oh my God. This place has the best patty melt you will ever try. I had the Godfather, it’s their patty melt topped with smoked pulled pork, fried egg and jalapeño. This is a must try, you will not regret it. The patty was packed with flavor, the grilled onions are incredible. Not to mention their homemade tots. Some of the best tots out there. Location is great, such a cool atmosphere. Got a chance to speak with the owner, seems like a great guy who is proud of his great food. Highly recomme d.

The restaurant was in a food court type location with a bar on the north end. The sliders are a 1/6 lb burger so they are not the typical “slider” type burgers, and look more like a jr. sized patty. The jalapeño relish they have is delicious! The loaded fries were good but the serving sizes are quite small. It was barely more than a handful of fries for $ 15.00 on top of the bunless burger I ordered, for another $ 15.00 as well. The food was OK overall, but was not worth the price, paying a little over $ 30.00 for nothing but a burger and fries was a lot.
