Moab Coffee Roasters is one of those places that just feels good to be in. It’s the kind of coffee shop you walk into and immediately relax a little. The vibe is super calm and welcoming—never hectic or pretentious—making it a perfect stop whether you’re starting your day or taking a break from exploring Moab.

One of the coolest things about this spot is that they roast their own beans. You can really tell they care about what they’re doing, because the coffee is consistently solid no matter what you order. Everything tastes fresh and well made without being overcomplicated. On top of that, they also have chocolate and ice cream, which is a fun bonus, and everything is priced really reasonably. It’s nice being able to treat yourself without feeling like you’re overspending.

The shop itself has more than just great drinks. They sell handmade mugs that are actually really cool and unique—definitely not the generic stuff you see everywhere. Their shirts and jackets are also worth checking out; they’re stylish, comfortable, and feel more like something you’d actually want to wear rather than just tourist merch.

What really makes Moab Coffee Roasters stand out, though, is the staff. Everyone is genuinely kind, friendly, and easy to talk to, which adds a lot to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place you end up coming back to—not just for the coffee, but for the atmosphere and the people too.

Walking through the door and hearing the Grateful Dead piping through the speakers, I knew we’d have a great morning. This place is large and ready to feed the masses, but they extend very personal attention and are warm and welcoming. Our lattes were great! We opted to sit outside and people watch by the sunflowers blooming. Thanks for the morning’s launch!

We chose this place because they roast their own beans. It can definitely get busy here so I recommend coming early if you’re visiting on the weekend. One thing that surprised us about Moab Coffee Roasters is that they have a large chocolate section — we tried the birthday cake truffle and loved it.

You should also visit Moab Made next door! Looks of neat artisanal goods in there.

Excellent espresso on its own and as a base in espresso drinks. Intense, toasty, earthy but smooth. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. Lots of seating in and outdoors.

AMAZING COFFEE! We got an iced latte and cold brew 2 days in a row. Best cold brew around in our opinion. Quick and easy stop for a great cup of coffee!

Moab Coffee Roasters is an absolute must-stop every time I pass through Moab. It has become a tradition for me. Their affogato is hands down my favorite. It’s the perfect combination of rich espresso and creamy ice cream, especially after a day of exploring the area.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is always friendly, and everything I’ve tried has been excellent. You can tell they care about quality. If you’re anywhere near Moab, don’t miss this place. I’ll definitely keep coming back every single trip.

This is a nice little coffee shop with friendly employees. We visited here several times while in Moab. The chai cider is pretty tasty. I had to try it, it was good, but I prefer classic Chai. That being said, my husband tried mine and ended up getting the chai cider each time we went back.
The second time I went in, I asked if they had plain chai tea and was told they did. I ordered that, but still ended up receiving a chai latte. Don’t get me wrong, I love chai lattes, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. After visiting a few coffee shops in the area, I feel like chai latte is the norm for chai in that area. As I mentioned, it was good, but I was looking for just a plain chai tea. I’d definitely go back, and definitely recommend it.

I had been eyeing this place ever since we got to Moab and was excited when my hubby said we could come here in between hikes. I wouldn’t call the staff unwelcoming, but no one seemed happy to be there. It was kind of weird. I felt like an inconvenience even though I was bringing in money, I was the only customer needing help, and it was hours from closing time. The inside is kind of shabby and really unremarkable, which would have been remedied with good coffee/service but it was just alright. Would have spent more money there if I was more comfortable. I’m not saying they should be grinning ear-to-ear and hyped to welcome us in, but maybe don’t act like your customers are chores. The people sitting outside made the same comments when we were leaving.

I got a caramel latte and it was delicious. The coffee is amazing and they got the order out within 10 minutes of ordering and there were a good amount of people in the lobby. They have good seating inside and outside!
