Mo P’s is near the back of the liquor store’s parking lot. Most people order carry out, but there is seating at the counter and 6-8 tables in the dining area (some tables may have items sitting on them). Everything we ordered was outstanding, from the collard greens to the potato salad and the baked beans. I would order the fried chicken rather than the chicken strips. The chicken strips may be frozen, but their fried chicken is stellar, and the perfectly seasoned skin stays crunchy. Portions for the sides are generous. I recommend finishing with the sweet potato pie, but I’ve heard the lemon pound cake is excellent too. I can’t wait to come back!!

Canadian in town visiting family and decided to go for some southern fried chicken. Mo P’s was highly rated and we’re glad we gave it a try! They cook the food fresh to order and accordingly you can expect piping hot, juicy, tender, and flavourful fried chicken! It was the best fried chicken we’ve had and got a double thumbs up from my son. We ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner, mash potatoes, mac n cheese, fries, collard greens, candied yams and sweet potato pie. Everything was delicious! The lady that served was very kind, patient, and answered all of our questions. We will definitely come back next time we’re in town!

Our family was visiting the area from PA and decided to try this place. The chicken is cooked per order and served piping hot. The food was really good. Nice vibe and very welcoming. We will be back when we travel to Michigan again.

First time visitor. Loved everything about this place. I was on my my lunch break from a nearby university, and had a taste of home cooking since my mom transitioned. The food was exactly what I was craving. Good job to the cooks!

The food was decent nice flavors, but the pricing for certain items are a little off could be slightly cheaper for the portion you’re served especially the canned pop. The service was good though had answers for every question as far as combo deals and all but the location needs a few things replaced as far as the ceiling tiles.
