This was my first time to this restaurant. I ordered teriyaki chicken expecting the mediocre. What I received was truly amazing! The chicken was terrifically the white rice was a perfect 10! O rated my overall experience therewith 4 stars. Being a Hawaiian restaurant one would expect warm Hawaiian rolls with maybe some sweet butter covered by the warm rolls. Nope. What I got was macaroni salad. Macaroni salad from a Hawaiian restaurant! Can you believe that?

My first visit to this place. The food was excellent quality. Staff was friendly. The only downfall was getting tables cleaned from previous people’s sauce drippings. The price for the amount of food you get is very generous.

If you want the Hawaiian Experience this is a wonderful spot to get what you pay for. I was very pleased with the menu selection along with the food if I had to recommend anything it’s the salt and pepper chicken (looks like grilled chicken) the STEAK!! AND THE KATSU PORK those are the three you need right there!! Definitely coming back when I am in town

This place is usually great, but the experience tonight unfortunately was not. As I was eating my food, I took a bite out of my Mac salad, and felt something weird, I thought maybe it was a weird piece of lettuce, but when I pulled it out of my mouth I saw that it was a piece of plastic wrap. Immediately lost my appetite after that.

The portions are really good, the taste is great. I really appreciate that they do not charge extra for Katsu chicken like other places. The service was quick and the places was clean. The only less great thing (because it was not bad), was that the teriyaki sauce was pretty salty. That was the only less pleasant thing, and again it was not that bad. Overall, I would definitely recommend it and will be back again. It is nice to see that some places do a good job and don’t change things or compromise the service cor the sake of more revenue.

Great comfort food. I used to live by the owner. I miss seeing their mother each day, such a sweet lady. She was native Hawaiian and passed away a few years back after their father died. Got to know her then and I’m sure glad I took the time. Truly loved her. I’m guessing the macaroni salad recipe and a few others are hers. I hope so anyway. Support this business because it’s local and it’s real.
