Listen, I love this place through and through. Yall have taken many of my doubloons within the last 6 months. But my last 3 visits, ifk if they’re new or not. Believe it or not, this is an ekolou plate. Supposed to be double pulehu chicken and 1 katsu chicken. This is the same amount of mean that comes on a regular plate. I started getting the ekolou plates to make 2 meals out of them, now theres not enough meat to make a 2nd meal but a butload of rice. Idk if the company has changed it’s portion sizes or what, but I cant justify to continue to pay this amount of money (20 George Washington’s, 4 ben Franklin’s, 2 alexander Hamiltons, 1 Andrew Jackson) for what is included now. I love this place and love the food, but the fact that they keep downsizing on the meat but keep the price the same is saddening. I really hope the meat portions come back, but this is ridiculous for $20 bucks. Again. Love the food, it’s amazing, but part of the bargain is being able to have multiple meals. Part of it was the large meat portion. Thank you.

The server was nice that’s why you got 2 stars. The food could have been good but it was all old food like from the day before. It was around 11 or 12 so I thought it would have been fresh. My wife and I got different things and all of it seemed like old food from the day before. I was really disappointed because when you think Hawaiian food , but it was more like some guy from Utah made it or something . MAKE FRESH FOOD!!

Great food with large portions, nice atmosphere with themed seating. Meat was tender, moist and cooked to perfection. Only downside is that the community hasn’t seemed to discover this establishment as we were the only ones there during an hour that should have been much busier. I highly recommend dropping by and giving it a taste.

Always delicious. The employees are attentive and pleasant. It was cold and snow on the ground outside but inside made you feel as if you’re in a different place (I would like to say Hawaii, but unfortunately have not been)

Went in recently and the place was boring and slow. I thought with how slow it was the food would’ve been better. The meat was burnt and so old. The katsu chicken wasn’t even warm and it looked like it was left out for hours. Place was better when they had staff who cared now its a bunch a people who cant even smile

The kalua pork and the teriyaki chicken was really good. By default it’s served with a scoop of white rice, a scoop of macaroni salad and a generous helping of shredded, raw, green cabbage. A bite of meat, cabbage, macaroni sald and white rice makes your mouth do a happy dance. Sounds odd – but try it! It is a fast food place. But the atmosphere has a Hawaiian flavor and the staff were friendly and helpful to novices.

Oh my GOODNESS!!!! The Kalua pig is to die for I got the mini plate and it comes with 2 meats, rice and macaroni salad. The two meats I ordered is the Kalua Pig and teriyaki steak. I’m so happy they opened up in Shawnee! Go get you some Mo’ Bettahs!

Staff has been very friendly & the cook on meats has been perfect. We had stopped going because the chicken was overcooked almost burnt & pork was always dry but not the last two times. Keep it up.
