Small hidden gem outside of Hortonville, WI, this supper clubs appears to be a home nestled in the woods with a pole barn bar behind it, but what’s inside is a beautiful example of a traditional Wisconsin Supper Club. We were waited on by an amazing bartender that made my guest some amazing drinks, including her signature Salted Caramel martinin, which did not disappoint, and she was welcoming and made sure we had what we needed, even though the place was packed and she was very busy. Our server greeted us, took out order and let us know our table number and to help ourselves to the soup and salad bar. The salad bar was small yet packed with fresh ingredients one would expect at a Supper Club, the amazing prime rib soup was robust and warmed my tummy on a cold winters night. My guest ordered the tenderloin while I got the king cut prime rib, al Oscar, with the signature potato cakes. Hands down the best in the area. Warm yellow hollandise and the lumped crab with asparagus flowed over my generous portion of prime rib. My guests tenderloin was so good, she doesn’t want to eat it anywhere else. Our server was amazing and we had plenty for leftovers to savor the taste again tomorrow. A+++++

Just had another excellent dinner at MJ’s Supper Club. The garlic Parmesan salmon and potato patties were delicious! Service was cheerful, prompt & professional throughout our meal. We felt very welcome, & will definitely be back!

Very small place but does the job. The fish batter is light with a peppery spice that is great. Have eaten at better but still a solid choice for dinner.

I can’t believe I have never to MJ’s before, yes it is off the beaten path, but it has to be right up with the best meal at supper club I have ever had. My wife and I try to get to a supper club weekly and we have a pretty solid rotation that we hit, and we will differentially be adding this to our regular rotation. And it’s only a minute drive!
Prime rib was amazing, well seasoned and much bigger cut than I was anticipating, and the potato cakes should be a meal all on their own!

Fine dining experience, everything delicious nice soup and salad bar, seafood platter has everything you need and more, the tenderloin and shrimp combo was very good and comes with au gus really good, the service was excellent! Short staff but she kept up with every table, very proud of her efforts! Check out this place pretty sure you will add this to your dining list

Black Otter was absolutely packed at 415 so we stumbled upon MJ’s and gave them a shot. Atmosphere was friendly, much quieter than Otter. Didn’t have to fight to get to the bar Prime rib had an interesting flavor, couldn’t put our finger on it but definitely not a standard prime rib rub. A little sweet almost, just not our style. Ribeye was flavorless except one area that was heavily salted. Tenderloin filet was absolutely delicious. Ribs were excellent as well. Garlic mashed potatoes were flavorful but very dry. Potato cakes were excellent. No drink service at table and that was fine but hard to get water glass refilled also. All in all it was still a good experience.

We were led to this place because of a 3hr wait at the “other” supper club down the road…I can 100% confirm that this place is equal if not better! We walked in and waited no more than 15 mins before being seated on a SATURDAY!!! The prime rib is amazing! Flavorful and adding a lobster tail was the cherry on top! We will be back! Amazing staff!!!

Staff was super friendly, there was something off with my old-fashions I just couldn’t place. Broke from my standard of always trying a ribeye my first time at a new place and tried the stuffed shrimp, excellent! Satisfactory salad bar. This spot is small so come early and get on the list. I will be back to give the ribeye a try!

The bartender was excellent friendly and well-placed they don’t get much better than her so wait staff was excellent which was Emma I would give her five stars energy and the food was extremely well-prepared I highly recommend stopping and having dinner there
