Breakfast was delicious. Everything cooked perfectly. Best hash browns I’ve had in years, not a huge slab of undercooked inside and burnt outside. Came late in summer so not busy, service was great.

We checked in inside, then sat outside on a Sunday morning. They were busy but not slammed. No one ever brought us menus – we had to go get them. We waited half an hour and didn’t even get coffee, but saw other tables being served. Once a table freed up inside we moved, saying the kids were cold, but it was more so we wouldn’t be overlooked. After being there 55 minutes I asked how much longer it would be. The waitress said she would check and immediately returned with our food, which could be described as warm at best, which makes me think it has been sitting there for some time under a heat lamp. There was never any apology or acknowledgement of our ridiculously long wait, not did she check on us after delivering the food (and forgetting one party of my order) . Unimpressed. As a former wait person myself, things happen, but we were essentially ignored and forgotten. The food was decent or I’d give it one star.

We were so excited to try this cafe after reading such positive reviews. You can tell the food is made-to-order, it’s like eating breakfast at Grandma’s house. Delicious. However, service was very slow. From sitting down to leaving the restaurant, we spent about two hours here. That being said, the staff apologized for the wait and were very polite. I’m assuming today was just an “off” day. We are on vacation, so the wait didn’t really bother us, but we did see at least two tables get up and leave after being seated. It’s also Labor Day weekend, so I’m sure they’re much busier than usual. Would return. Good breakfast spot in Southern Colorado.
