Surprisingly great and authentic! The food at Mizumi really impressed us. Fresh ingredients, well balanced flavors, and everything was beautifully presented. The sushi rolls were flavorful, and the noodles, dumplings, steak, etc. were all delicious. You can tell they care about quality. Friendly staff and clean cozy atmosphere too. Definitely a solid spot if you are craving Japanese food in Great Bend. ♥️

I had an excellent experience with my first time here. The food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious and nicely presented. Jessie and the chef were attentive, very friendly and welcoming, professional, and courteous. The atmosphere was great, too–nicely decorated. Highly recommend eating at Mizumi next time you’re in Great Bend.

Given the area… this sushi isn’t all bad. I ordered take out. I had a basic California roll and the volcano roll which cost roughly $20. It definitely satisfied my craving for sushi while I’m in the area. Try them out. (I started eating before taking a pic)

So I had lunch today here for my first time ever being here. I had the chicken hibachi with fried rice. And my boyfriend had the filet mignon and salmon hibachi. We also ordered two sushi rolls the Paradise roll and the Fire Cake roll.
So for the sushi it was delicious and fresh not fishy at all. Would HIGHLY recommend.
The chicken teriyaki was also perfect. Loved the fried rice and their yum yum sauce!! The vegetables that came with it were perfectly cooked and flavored. Even my boyfriend liked his vegetables and at most places he won’t touch them.
Now I will say for the filet it either isn’t a true cut of filet or a very cheap cut. It still tasted okay but not filet good. It was also over cooked to our liking. I will be trying again since sometimes it’s hit or miss with some steaks. The salmon was delicious as well.
There was a longer wait for our food, however worth the wait. And it’s a bit warm in the restaurant.
All in all I highly recommend this place.

Clean, wait staff is wonderful. Food is fresh and amazing. Very clear the owner and staff care. Such a great experience we cannot wait to go again! Asset to Great Bend for sure!

Truly, most tender steak I’ve ever had. The steak hibachi was cut into perfect pieces, unlike the chewy chunks I’ve seen at most hibachi.
I was surprised, out here in the middle of Kansas; was not expecting that level of texture and delight.
The restaurant is in the heart of town. It was a great Sunday stroll. I felt that my meal was served with care, which made my day.

Great food, great service. Had lunch with my mom and sister for the first time. Was the best general Taos chicken I have had in a very long time. The crab rangoons were perfect balance of filling and crispness. Will be a regular addition to our lunch rotation.
