My mom and I are returning customers ( multiple times in hopes that it’s changed but it seems to just be getting worse) we are frustrated with the lack of consistency. We might order an item and love it so much that we order it again in another round only to be disappointed, or in one visit like something and the next visit it is not like before. Things are a hit or miss. Please fix this! For example in this visit we loved the Beef Roll and had to order it again. The second time was a complete disaster and just awful. The steak was completely burnt and the flavors were all off. The second round escolar was SO thick it was unappetizing, unlike the first round which was thinner and mouth melting. The salmon was obviously a different color than in the first round a lot darker and did not taste the freshest either rounds compared to past visits. It’s hard to truly rate the food when the consistency is SO off. For example the bbq squid was so tough our last visit and the texture was horrible and today’s visit it was pretty decent and soft. As much as we LOVE this restaurant this is so frustrating when the first round goes amazing and the second round makes us want to leave because of the quality or when we go and the food is a overall miss. I am so upset that the sushi quality has gone down over the past 2 years but so has the Sashimi price. I’m not sure if it’s new management, or maybe the hype that came from TikTok where they may have had to cut down quality. From personal experience working at a Japanese restaurant I was taught how to make the food properly and what to look for in the quality, freshness and taste, my standards are some what high when it comes to sashimi and Mizumi’s USED to deliver. It has been a 5 before and I know it’s capable of being a 5 again. We’ll be back in a few months HOPEFULLY something changes and if not then you’ve lost long time customers. I wish I could have my first experience all over again. The unmarked photos are from a few previous visits.

Great place overall the food and the vibe are really good. You have to try the Thai tea, that one’s a must. Sushi is solid 8/10. The only downside was the wait time; it felt like our food was ready a few minutes before it actually made it to the table. Definitely worth checking out.

We absolutely love Mizumi’s! It’s such a treat! The all you can eat is the best bang for your buck. We love the Yum Yum and Crazy Beef rolls. Alaska roll and Sashimi are great as well! They also have the best fried Gyoza and Tempura I’ve ever had! 10/10 but go wait in line 30 minute before they open. Or else you’ll be waiting awhile.

All you can eat is free on your bday with 3 other paying! We got every year for someone’s birthday and sometimes all of them. Service takes forever but it’s worth the wait and where we take friends from out of town!

PROS: The food is really good! The sushi is AMAZING! The prices are great!
CONS: If you don’t like tight spaces, just order to go. The parking isn’t the best depending on the day and time you go.

First time there and the food was good and it could be a little hotter cause it was warm. Guess it was so busy we didn’t get our service like I thought qe would, but will return back. It was very pack and busy that night. They give alot of food which it was good for the price. Love they California rolls. Will order them again.

Yummy food and amazing service. Loved the floor seating in the little nooks. So cute! I got the scallop hibachi fried rice and it was delicious and affordable. Great place to try in downtown GSO.

I’ve been coming to this place for several years and it’s never been this bad. The food is great and the waitress was good too, but it takes 45 minutes to get your food now in an all you can eat option that has a 2 hour limit. Most of the orders we received were wrong, too. Why did I choose the Sashimi option and none of it is ever brought to our table? You guys have 5 guys working in the kitchen and most of them are working on Door Dash orders. What’s the point of coming into the restaurant if you guys are focusing on door dash orders instead of the people that came in to eat? Terrible management. Whatever you guys were doing 2 years ago is what you guys should be doing now. Seems like someone tried to fix something that was not broken.
