January 2026, my experience: just know before you go that you will have to wait- if you’re in a hurry to catch a flight, don’t eat here unless you grab a pre-made roll to go.

I ordered quite a bit for myself because this was my lunch/dinner for the day: To drink, I had a 6oz. glass of Pinot noir. For an appetizer, I had the edamame. For my main dish, I had the New Style Salmon Sashimi and a cucumber avocado roll.

For me, this wasn’t too much food because the salmon was served without rice and in a light sauce, which is why I also ordered the veggie roll for a little more substance.

Overall, as far as airport sushi goes, this was pretty decent and I would come here again. The salmon was a little fishy, which was disappointing. I love salmon, I eat it quite often, and I usually don’t find it fishy if it’s quality salmon.

The service took long. The sign outside the restaurant says “seat yourself”, so I sat down at a table for two and no one greeted me for more than 10 minutes. I was confused if I was supposed to order at the bar or wait for a server because I didn’t see any servers around. Needless to say, someone eventually came around. I waited about 20 minutes+ for my food after I placed my order.

Since I had the time, I didn’t mind. I also was able to charge my phone at the table, which was awesome!

Food was alright, tried a few things and things tasted ok. Maybe understaffed the evening of my visit leading to delayed service and dirty surroundings. Generally pretty dirty establishment that could use some attention from staff. Common items like soy containers and seats sticky and filthy, which for a sushi place in an airport feels risky and I would avoid in the future.

If you traveling through DIA and don’t know, Denver actually has some superrr fresh fish and is a great place to eat seafood. This airport sushi did not disappoint! Beautiful grab and go presentation.

Today I came into Mizu because I had a bit of extra time before my flight. The bartender, Stacey, suggested the rainbow roll and Japanese old fashion. I enjoyed both of them a lot, and the service and entire dining experience was very enjoyable. I recommend coming here anytime you have some time in DIA!

My only gripe is that the ramen could’ve been saltier, but that’s just personal preference. The sushi was amazing, the ramen was delicious, and the service was good. Don’t come here expecting a five-star restaurant, but for the price, the food was absolutely worth it.

Transiting for 2 hours, I was so happy to be able to get a hot food at the airport. The Tonkatsu Ramen was delicious, the beef was tender, the boiled egg was really tasty, need a bit hotter (temperature wise) though. It came out fast. The lady who served me was so cheerful and helpful.

On the way out, I saw the drawing facilities for the children, what a nice service. Hopefully they will manage to fix the machine so the customers can get hot tea, also Mochi ice cream for dessert will be nice. Hopefully it’s not too much to expect.

I accidentally left my laptop at Mizu Izakaya in the Denver airport and only realized when I arrived back home in Mexico. I contacted the restaurant right away — it was a bit difficult to reach them at first, but eventually I got a call from Ricardo, the manager.

From the moment I spoke with him, I felt completely reassured. He genuinely did everything on his end to make sure my laptop was safe and returned securely. He kept it safe for two days and even went to another terminal to meet a friend of mine so the laptop could be delivered back to me safely.

Ricardo was truly amazing — kind, trustworthy, and incredibly helpful. An absolute angel. I feel so lucky that he handled my situation with such care and the best attitude. Thank you so much, Ricardo!

I ordered the California sushi roll and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life! I never thought airport sushi could taste this good. I liked it so much that I went back and ordered another one after finishing the first. I highly recommend it — it’s absolutely delicious. Every time I come back to Denver Airport, I will definitely return to this restaurant!

While coming back from Florida, my daughter and I had a connecting flight in Denver. We stopped and had 2 California rolls. As soon as we walked into Mizu at the airport we were greeted by Bernardo and Rolando very warmly. We were told we could sit anywhere and the service was friendly and welcoming. The food was top notch!
It was the best California roll I had ever tasted and it was presented beautifully.

Sushi rolls were good, but it took around 35-45 minutes from the time I seated myself for my one dish to arrive. Admittedly not sure if that’s a normal waiting time, if they were understaffed, or weren’t expecting to be as busy as they were on a Thursday evening.
The price listed online for the sushi rolls I ordered was less than what I actually paid for (shown to be around $12 but was actually around $16); overall not a bad experience though since I had the time to wait, and the staff members were very friendly, so it kind of balanced out.
