We like this place but every time I order for pick up they forget either the soup or the salad that goes with the meal. Disappointing.

Updating my review right after making it to change to 1 stars. They shorted us on our food claiming the menu changed (even though I ordered directly from their website). The roll we got with the sushi and sashimi for 2 completely fell apart, every single piece. They gave us 2 tiny cups of soy sauce and NO wasabi! We live right up the road but we will never go here again. It’s extremely overpriced for the quality you are getting. The pieces of sushi are a JOKE. Half the size you would typically get from literally anywhere else. We spent $65 to get utterly ripped off.

2nd edit within 5 minutes: there was even a bone in one of the pieces of sashimi. So clearly they aren’t cleaning their fish properly. Hopefully we don’t get food poisoning.

I have been coming here for years. My go to dinner place that feels like a second home. The food is always amazing and I love the little changes that have been made from the napkins/chopsticks to the new menu look/additions under the new management. I highly recommend trying it out. Never disappoints

Great food and hibachi experience. It felt like the server was rushing us a little to put our orders in but outside of that everything was great. Servings were very good, everyone took home leftovers. Our chef was also very good with our little and even got a balloon animal.

Wanted to try a new Hibachi place. Did not disappoint. The outdoor upkeep may not be the greatest. The servings are well portioned and meat cooked to a proper temperature. After visiting other Hibachi locations, the Chef/Cook really stood out for making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. While also making sure to make the meals as requested. The one thing, the soup was served cold. Didn’t complain just ate it, since it was room temperature. The meat was cooked medium rare and had chicken teriyaki with fried rice. . Tried the lovers special, great value for 2. Served with hibachi meal and desert. Would recommend for a Hibachi visit than ordering as by the looks of it. Doesn’t look like they do a good job on take out.

The entrance is dingy, surrounded by weeds, and completely uncared for. It makes me wonder how clean the kitchen and food might be. Inside the atmosphere is dark and not much better. The floor is in disrepair. The decor is a mixed-match of different styles that do not complement each other. But when it comes to the food, Mizo is still worth a visit. The sushi is always nicely plated or packed with fresh fish and vegetables and not surrounded by too much rice. The portions are generous. The selections are creative. Mizu offers Hibachi. And the prices are MOSTLY competitive. Mizu offers lunch great specials but unfortunately custumers do NOT get to select which fish (which can be an issue if you have an allegry or simply cannot eat something). Also EVERYTHING seems to be an extra charge. The service is OK – I have yet to see anyone offer a smile. I don’t think English is anyone’s first language but that is not usually an issue. If you can get past the atmosphere and the extra charges, Mizu is a great choice.

All of the positive reviews below were overly generous. Food including pork ramen soup was flavorless. Cold – no heat. Boring interior. We will never return. Green tea had zero flavor plus it was cold.my one star is generous.

Party of four at our own table across from a party of 11. Food was delicious however we had a 6pm reservation and didn’t get seated or order til 7:10pm. Our table was broke so watched the back of a chef the whole time. Plus it was freezing in the back. Huge draft like wind blowing. Finally finished at 8:22pm.

Nice staff. Good sauces. Fast service. Very reasonably priced.
The house ramen was mild. It was good but a little odd (had bell peppers and a poached egg in it) the broth was nice but, again, on the mild side. They didn’t really try to set the ramen up pretty like most places do. They just kinda served it all stirred up. Great hibachi and excellent drinks.
Hard to take photos in here because of the ~*mood lighting*~
