Awesome spot for group dinners, they have revamped the dining room, and the quality of the food has gone up substantially over the past few years!

I would love it if you’d answer your phone mizu. I am unable to make a reservation on your website, because the Gig Harbor location is not listed under your website. When I call, I just get a busy tone. When I walk in, my family and I are turned away because we “did not make a reservation ahead of time”. I can’t win!! I really use to like this place. Not sure what happened. The food and atmosphere is great in my opinion, but the service stinks!

So very disappointing! When I made reservations for my daughter’s birthday, they said they would bring her a special drink & a brownie Sunday. We got there & told them again that we were celebrating her birthday – NO acknowledgement, no drink or dessert. They weren’t busy & they had plenty of staff, so do they ignore everyone, or was it discrimination because she has Downs Syndrome?

I’ve been to 3 Mizus locations, Gig Harbor is easily the worst location for quality, service and overall experience. The hibachi chef was the only semi positive experience. They will try to over charge you, drinks were awful, service was a joke. I’m not usually one to give bad reviews as it can be hard to recover from a bad reputation but this place needs a serious reality check and get their business in order. Save yourself and just go somewhere else.

We had to wait for the main entrance of Bruce Lee, our chef in command. Mariafe was our waitress, and the Sake bombs were great! Food wise all was excellent and delicious! Definitely going back to this place with my group!

Jae made me the best yellowtail sashimi I’ve ever had in my whole life. I wish I could give more than five stars because him and Alan gave my mom and I the best experience ever! We felt like royalty and the food was top-tier. Bless these people!

We just went to Mizu with our 4 yo son. Our chef and waitresses were very friendly and nice. It was my son’s first time hitachi experience and chef made it so much more fun for my him(like he would have a fire man, make trains and a snail with food while cooking). Food was great and the place was clean. We’ll definitely visit again.

Last few times food has been sub par, never could get refil on drinks even though there was only one other couple in the building. Sushi has not been available. The only good thing is this personality of the hibachi cooks.

My family and I have been dining at Mizu’s for years. We went back last night for the first time since the world broke, and we were pleasantly surprised and entertained by a new, talented, hilarious Chef named Roman.
