A waste of over $100 on sushi. So disappointed. The containers had so much ginger just thrown in on top of the sushi, and it’s so strong that it’s the only flavor that we can taste on every piece of the sushi. Had to throw it all away. The Hibachi meal was fresh, hot, and tasty though. Miso soup was tasty also. Our bang bang shrimp was given as plain fried shrimp with a side of sauce….

One of the best Sushi places I’ve been. We’re from out of town, and stopped here at random.
Everything was fresh, the service was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting.
I loved the rolls we got, and my kids loved all of their food too, and they’re picky!

Finally gave it a try, I pass it by on my daily commute. There was no one else there when I arrived. I was seated and waited for the lady to return to take my drink order. Maybe she forgot I was there or was working on something else. Ordered hot tea, was served in a lovely pot. Ordered fried calamari, wasn’t impressed. It was greasy and not very tasty. Ordered two rolls, again the wait was longer than expected. By this time there were three other tables, so I wasn’t too bothered. What did bother me was that there were plenty of empty tables and the people were say on either side of me. Guess I like eating without people talking about the barracks and workouts. Anyway, probably will just still the place closer to the house.

A very cozy restaurant with authentic flavors. They have a really good seared roll. The eel however had little bones in multiple pieces which I haven’t experienced with eel before , I asked my server and she wasn’t concerned with them. They made the pieces inedible. Otherwise all the menu items were good and very fresh. 8/10

What a gem! We loved the quieter, more intimate environment, the service was excellent, and the food! Wow, it was delicious! We will be eating here again, for sure. Thank you, Mizu staff, for such a great experience!

Easily the best sushi place in Clarksville, hands down! I base this off a multitude of categories; miso soup, properly made sushi rice, freshness and cut of fish, menu diversity, and price. This family ran restaurant is as authentic as you can get in Tennessee!

Update: came in to get some Tokyo tonkatsu ramen (because, it hits differently in person). It was still good. Service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing and the decor cute. The broth was flavorful and very hot. The pork had good flavor, face appears to have been seared (reheating perhaps), still fairly tender and not bad, but a bit dryer than I like it. Ramen noodles are the classic, instant style. Soft boiled egg took on an almost smokey flavor, it does not appear to have been marinated. Mushrooms and scallions were sliced thin, some of the bamboo shoots were tough. Not my new favorite place in town but I wouldn’t be sad to eat here again.
May 2024: Got some tonkatsu to go and it was awesome. Well packed, perfect portion of soup and ingredients, counter service was great. Nice looking establishment and friendly staff. When I get the chance, I will make sure to come here to eat in.

First time trying this restaurant. Sushi was fresh and well made. Other options included Ramen, other noodles and stir fries. There was only one waitress so prepare to have a little wait but not too bad.

First timer here and thought it was fantastic. The sushi rolls are really well constructed so that they do not fall apart. The broth on the ramen was on point, and the pork belly in the soup was flavorful without being too fatty. My only negative on food was that the edamame was super salty, although still edible. Service is quick. The seating in the back is cozy but can still fit a 6-8 person group. I highly recommend you give this one a try!

I hate to say this but this wasn’t a good experience. We went during the week, and they weren’t busy, they had a few people waiting for pick up for Uber eat grub hub pr whatnot but we were waiting to be seated for at least 10 plus mins. After being seated, she got our order fast and we got out food in a decent amount of time but she was not attentive l, she left all the plates on our table and didn’t come back and refill our drinks. But the kicker was the food was not good, the calamari was oily and the taste was odd, and sushi wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either the Tuna felt like it was not sushi grade. The Salmon was decent. But I wouldn’t try this place again.
