It is amazing! For being a land locked state, it has pretty good sushi. Haven’t had their food yet, only sushi, but want to try and see if I still enjoy it.

The food is ok. The service is mediocre at best. Went in today to what looked like the owner getting the only service in the place. Waited for a sushi roll for 40 minutes while the person doing the sushi just walked around aimlessly. Last time I will be coming here. St Robert really needs more quality establishments. They have definitely renewed my home cooking vibe. If you do come here budget an hour and a half or so of your time.

Negatives:
They were understaffed. There were probably at least 7+ tables for one waitress to wait on. And a couple of the tables were very large groups.
Food was pretty expensive. I do also think that my husband and I have been spoiled by living near places with high quality, inexpensive sushi. So in comparison to most sushi, they aren’t really that expensive.

The restaurant was really interesting inside. Quite pretty, especially in contrast to the rather ugly outside. We were seated rather quickly, and the one waitress working worked crazy fast and got everything correct. She did as good a job as one person could do. Seriously, she did great.
The food was SUPER fresh and delicious. The miso was delicious, the bento box was to die for! And the sushi was great! And we did leave there uncomfortably full, so you do get a decent amount of food.
So basically I would TOTALLY recommend this place as long as you’re alright with spending a bit of money. We both had a great experience.

Fish was cut too thick. There was too much rice. Everything was covered in sauce. The place smelled odd, but not like fish.
Maybe my experience was different than most, but the food just wasn’t very good.

When I first walked into this place, I already didn’t know what to think. They had absolutely no idea what they were trying to do with their atmosphere; there was an empty area of the restaurant towards the front that looked kind of like a sitting area, but there was already a waiting area by the door, and the chairs in that sitting area didn’t even match the rest of the restaurant, they just looked like they were refurbished from an old antique store. There were several wall hangings of anime strung up about the place which to me severely decreased the authenticity of the place. The music was too loud and not even on par with the mood; I understand it doesn’t have to be oriental all the time, but I definitely didn’t want to be blasted with Katy Perry during my lunch hour over sushi.
Finally, it took me forever to get my food,and there were only two other couples in the whole restaurant when I went. Perhaps I just had a bad service day when I went in. However, if you don’t mind a lousy atmosphere, I suppose the food was okay, it was still hot when I got it.

If I could rate 0 stars I would! We ordered spicy teriyaki chicken, spicy tuna roll and a shrimp tempura roll and two sweet teas. $43! Are you kidding me! No refills on drinks. Our waitress ended her shift right after we received our 10 pieces of chicken, 4 piece shrimp tempura roll and 4 piece spicy tuna roll. The place had a weird smell that they were trying to cover up with a cinnamon scented candle. And the lady making the rolls couldn’t seem to stop touching her hair while she was standing over her work station making rolls. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!…..EVER!

I hate when snobby people come to this town and say the quality sucks this and that. This is great quality sushi for such a small town. It’s not a big city, so of course it’s going to be compared to other better sushi places. This sushi place is really good and the service is always friendly when I go out to eat.
