We stopped at this authentic café on Route 66 while driving from the Grand Canyon, and it was a great experience. The place has a real American roadside vibe. The food is simple and delicious – classic burgers and fries alongside tasty Mexican tacos and salsas. Everything felt fresh and homemade. A big plus was the friendly waitress, who made us feel welcome right away. Perfect stop for a break on a long road

Had a fantastic breakfast at Miz Zips this morning! Both of our meals tasted so good! The huevos rancheros were the best that I’d ever had, anywhere! Our waitress was fun, sweet and most importantly, attentive to our needs. Nice work! Many thanks!

A small diner with a good-sized menu. The service is friendly and the food is good. Parking could be difficult if they get busy. The bathrooms are small and not really handicap accessible. The restaurant is not handicap accessible, as there are stairs just inside the front doors.
There are two dining areas, one s you come in and one just to the right that’s larger. The decor is eclectic but based on antiques and the past. All in all, a quiet and quaint place to get a hearty meal.

It was our first time coming Miz Zip’s and I have to say the food was amazing and so was the service. We came on a weekday so it was not that busy and we got our food within seven minutes of placing the order. Our potato hash with seasoned perfectly. It was a great portion. The service was great. I would highly recommend coming.

The pozole and breakfast tacos are phenomenal! Went once and were never even acknowledged – went back 3 months later and haven’t had a problem since. Food is great- prices are affordable – service is good!

Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for a route 66 experience. Old school vibe, great stuff on the wall and an authentic diner. Food not the best i’ve ever had in a diner but good enough. Atmosphere and to say you’ve eaten in a diner from the 50’s is why we came and it delivered on that experience. Worth a stop if you’re passing through.

Family style dinning, friendly and welcoming. It’s like going for breakfast at a place that knows your name.
We were helped by Alexis who knew the menu and made great suggestions. The food was fresh and hot and delicious even though I added items to my omelette. The warm green sauce was a revelation. The fresh biscuit was light . But it was the waffle that surprised me the most, light yet complex in flavor. Everyone should try these waffles, they are an 11 on a scale of 10. The chicken was a little over cooked however crispy and tasty. The rooms could use a facelift but it is clean and quaint.
