I feel like some of the reviews that I found before eating here made me a little hesitant to go but I don’t think it was horrible as what other one star reviews had to say. The food was good! The tonkatsu ramen seemed a bit diluted than other ones I had from other places. The spicy chicken Don was pretty good. When they brought the food out to our table they gave us like a ginger sauce and a white sauce which I added a little to the chicken and rice and it made it taste even better! So if you go I suggest to get the spicy chicken Don (not that spicy, only a slight kick), and to add the sauces they give u little by little to each bite

I forgot to take an anesthetic picture before I devoured almost all of my ramen. But here’s my review on this place: The workers are extremely well mannered and funny! The wait time is a bit slow (it was crowded so I do not blame them☺️) but the quality food you get is a m a X I n g. (I chose to dine in, food came in piping hot) I got the ramen this time but their hibachi smelled so god damn heavenly (excuse my language) I will definitely try everything on the menu next time!!!

First off, this place is called Poke Poké but the place online is Miyu Ramen, so it was a bit of trouble to locate. Second, I had seen the negative reviews from others and wanted to see what it was about, until I realized why it had low stars…… When I walked in it was gloomy and quiet, giving an alienated experience as I wanted a simple ramen bowl. However, the stuff shown in front of you is all for Poké bowls, so you have to walk all the way to the back to see ramen on the menu you originally wanted. When I got it, it was very disappointing, but expected……. broth was BLAND, the extra noodles I paid $3 for didn’t take authentic, more like fresh out of the pack… protein selections were low in quantity and quality, tasteless…. Should have listened to the other reviews. Please take this as a sign to focus on another ramen spot if you crave the meal, so you can save the $18 I lost

Wanted to support a new local business but we were extremely disappointed… $15 for ramen that looked like I bought a .50 ramen noodle packet and added some unseasoned chicken and a can of corn to it. Very bland. The egg wasn’t your traditional soy egg just a plain hard boiled egg. Had to wait a few minutes to even be greeted as no one was behind the counter when I arrived. Horrible experience overall. Will be returning to Iron Ramen in stonybrook!

The food was terrible. I will never come again.
I ordered a sushi burrito with salmon, shrimp and avocado.
The rice was hard and the worst I have ever had. It even had husks. The avocado was also raw.
People who gave 5 stars should go eat something good.

Never have I been so disappointed with dinner. Husband ordered take out and went to pick up. I placed the most basic ramen – Tonkotsu. I don’t live that far away but
1. Soup is cold
2. Lettuce in ramen!?!?
3. No mention of menma in the menu but I got a surprise that it was in the bowl.
3 ordered gyoza for my son & surprise surprise.. it’s cold.
I figured might as well give this new place a try and support a local business but if this is how first week food is, they’re clearly in the wrong business. I’m sorry for this harsh review but the food isn’t good. I’d rather go to the mall and get ramen from Yume Ramen cos it’s 10x better.

I spoke with the counter worker for about ten minutes. She explained the ramen menu and I ordered. I asked for extra egg in my ramen as well. Took my food as a take out order and when I got home, no eggs at all. Broth was flavorless and the pork belly had no taste. Thinly sliced too. Not good at all.

My god where to start. First walk in and place is empty. I asked question and then decided. Said I can pick the level of heat. Took my order. Never asked what level or if it was to stay or go. Took 2 seconds to make which was strange. Then I get home to eat it. (10 minutes away). Portion was very small and cold. Overcooked shrimp that was cold so not fresh. Broth was so blan with no flavor at all. Hardly anything in it. And your noodles where spaghetti all clumped up and very little. Ate it in 2 minutes. Not satisfied and still hungry and definitely not good especially for the price. A dump just like the sushi place before it. Pass on this one. Much better and affordable Ramen to be had. I would be happier with a cup-o-noodles from 7-11.

UPDATE.

I didn’t know this dump is owned by the same owner as poke poki. Makes perfect sense. Both overpriced, bland and horrible portions.
