Miyoshi has quickly become one of my all-time favorite teppanyaki restaurants. ✨️ We celebrated Galentine’s here and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. The menu was absolutely indulgent—highlights included the miso edamame, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef, fresh lobster, and dessert. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and we left feeling completely satisfied and very well taken care of.

A big thank you to Nina and Brian for making the occasion so special , and to Irene for organizing everything so thoughtfully.

One detail that really stood out was the service—if your tea wasn’t finished, it was always replaced with a warm one, which showed great attention to detail. The hospitality was excellent, with warm and attentive service throughout. I’ll definitely be coming back. ✨

I didn’t realize until I checked that Miyoshi has free corkage daily for up to 4 bottles. Great for and a big plus for wine lovers like myself. Stacked with Triple Plus/Entertainer discounts, it’s pretty worth it in my view.

We were served by Annie who provided extraordinary service Always friendly and smiling with great initiative. The other wait staff were polite and accommodating as well. Half the battle won!

Ordered the tuna sashimi which we didn’t find worth the premium as we’ve had better for cheaper elsewhere. The Agedashi Tofu was ok but a bit unusual. Tempura, Wagyu Gyoza and the asparagus side dish were yummy and we enjoyed them on top of the popular Wagyu Donburi.

Tables are a bit close together and if you get a group that is noisy like we did, it can affect the dining experience.

Got a birthday dessert surprise at the end of dinner which was a very nice touch. Overall, we had a good experience and look forward to returning to try the other dishes.

We had a wonderful omakase experience with Chef Alfred. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every dish was beautifully executed and on point. My personal favourites were the otoro sushi and uni handroll. The ambience was intimate and enjoyable, and Chef Alfred was friendly and engaging, taking the time to introduce each dish.

Special thanks to Jebb for his attentive service and for surprising us with a complimentary birthday cake — such a thoughtful touch.

Tucked away in Sentosa, the restaurant setting was quiet and cosy. The omakase branch was just beside the ala-carte restaurant, adding even more privacy. The sashimi was fresh, each with a touch of uniqueness. Rice portions were small but perfect the way we liked it (you can still request for less rice). Chef Alfred took care of my wife and I well during our dinner experience. Definitely a place to return to.

The food and ambience was great. The sushi were all very freshly made, garlic rice was good and beef too. Special mention to chef Alfred who took very good care of us. He even shifted the plate to the opposite side for my friend after seeing he uses left hand. Also to Jebb who was also very attentive towards our needs. Make sure the plates and drinks were refilled. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Definitely recommend!

We had the most extraordinary evening at Miyoshi Omakase. We were served the special winter menu and each course was executed with precision, intention, and heart. Chef Nigel explained every dish with clarity and passion. The pacing was immaculate. The taste of each dish was spectacular. We will definitely be back and recommending this experience to everyone.

From the very first bite, it was clear that Chef Nigel and Brian pours both heart and artistry into every dish. Each course was beautifully crafted, with flavors that were perfectly balanced — delicate, yet full of character.

Beyond the food, both Chef’s warm personality and passion truly elevated the experience. He took the time to explain each dish with detail and enthusiasm, making us feel both welcomed and inspired. It was not just a meal, but a memorable journey through taste, culture, and craftsmanship.

We left with a full heart, a happy stomach, and a deep appreciation for the dedication behind his craft. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly unforgettable Omakase experience. ✨

First time at Taisho Omakase and was impressed with the set-up the moment we stepped in. It was a cosy and intimate dining experience with a 10-seater omakase bar situated adjacent to the main dining hall. The chefs Nigel and Brian were professional when preparing/serving the food and explaining each dish. The seafood were fresh and delicious, even their Miyazaki Wagyu add-on exceeded our expectations. Jebb’s attention to detail ensured that our food was served on time and made the whole dining experience very welcoming. He even prepared a birthday cake for us which was a pleasant surprise.

The food was amazing. I ordered the wagyu donburi lunch set and the beef was super tender, the garlic chips were crispy. My family members ordered sashimi, and were pleasantly surprised by how fresh it was. Our server, Jebb, was especially pleasant and accommodated the numerous requests made by my sister with special needs – super thankful for his understanding. Also the hokey pokey ice cream (vanilla with honey) is so so so good.
