This place has amazing food and great service, with an excellent menu. We ordered the tempura shrimp, fried dumplings, and the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai. It was wonderful!

4 of us had a late lunch today at Miyo’s on Forest drive. 3 of us have been several times. The service was poor at best. It took about 15 minutes to even get drinks ordered.
Then the food – well it was a total disappointment. The spring rolls we DARK brown, dry & flavorless. The lettuce chicken wrap was dry, tasted burned and the sauce was simple soy sauce with 4 pieces of green onion floating. The skewered beef appeared more like jerky – tough as shoe leather. The tofu was flavorless and under cooked. And there were the unidentified fried patties – well what were they???
We used to eat here frequently, but today was the last time. If you remember good food here, don’t go back!

I really enjoyed this experience. I also enjoyed the flower that was placed on the table. I went here yesterday i ordered spring rolls which were fresh and delicious. I ordered the Godzilla sushi rolls which were fresh and so tasty. I was actually mad i wanted more lol. I then ordered orange chicken which was good it wasn’t as hot as the other items but none the less good. I ordered fried rice with extra egg and steamed vegetables . Overall my food was really good. The staff was nice. My waitress assisted me with ordering something different that i don’t normally try. I was pleased. The vibe of this location was very good. I felt as if i wasn’t in Columbia . I enjoyed and can’t wait to go back.

First time trying this establishment. I was really impressed with the menu, and the food. For the appetizer I had the shrimp lettuce wrap which was delicious! For the entrée I had the Carolina Fried Rice. The rice was seasoned very well, I really enjoyed it! The Chicken Spring Rolls were delicious also.

Felt like a hidden gem, was perfect for a quick date after a super long day for us! Our server Wister gave great service and the food was all delicious. Lots of menu choices and portion sizes were fair for the prices.

We dropped by Miyo’s in Forest Drive after a hospital visit to feel good because we know that they are serving good food. We have been to Miyo’s in Harbison a couple of times and we had great experience both times. However, today, we ordered Shrimp tempura and it was soggy and dripping with oil, the fried calamari and egg roll did not meet our expectations and we were not expecting so much really, it was bland.
The Thai Basil doesn’t look like it at all. The sweet and sour shrimp had so much sauce, and the shrimp was overcooked and not tender. The beef kabob just looked like beef on skewers. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We paid good money for our orders and came out of the restaurant sadder than we came in.

I have ordered from this location twice. Each experience was different. The consistent thing about this place is the staff and service are really great. I am however indifferent about the food. The first visit was awesome. Enjoyed sushi and loved every bite. Second time I searched the menu to try something new. The tempura shrimp tasted great but looked sad on top of a handful of shredded cabbage. The summer roll looked different online versus what I received. It was literal fistfuls of shredded iceberg lettuce with a tiny sliver of shrimp on the bottom side. It’s crazy to spend $7+ for rolled lettuce but lesson learned. I will return for sushi at a later time.

Today we celebrated my daughter’s graduation luncheon. The five star chefs prepared fresh and delicious foods, and our guests loved the venue and could not stop raving about the taste and quality of the dishes. We received numerous positive compliments and texts from our guests after the event letting us know how much they enjoyed everything. It’s evident Miyos infuses fresh ingredients with garden fresh hand cut vegetables, therefore, you will not find this quality and level of quality customer service elsewhere in the area. When it came time to plan the menu, Michelle recommended several dishes and asked me to trust her which turned out to be the best decision for me. When you decide to plan your next event with Michelle, she communicates with you before, during, and after your event while keeping you posted about the meal and time for my guests to arrive. We had enough food for our guests to get second servings and take leftovers home. Be sure to get the rock shrimp appetizer. Overall, I could not have been more elated and pleased with my decision to use Miyos for my daughter’s graduation luncheon. Of all the places that contacted me about their venue and food, no one communicated to the level of Michelle and provided 5 star customer service. During our celebration, Michelle and her husband were accommodating and didn’t hover over us. Thank you to the chefs and Michelle, for making this one of the most amazing celebratory days for our family.
