extremely slow and careless service. came on a reservation and it’s clear that they weren’t prepared to serve us. maybe 2 waiters total?? we still hadn’t received our food even 2.5 hours after our reservation began. also, someone in our party ordered veggie dumplings, and they gave them meat dumplings. after complaining, they absolutely insisted it was tofu. (it was most definitely not vegetarian.) they refused to remake it. my tempura udon was tasteless and i had to dump some soy sauce into it to get any flavor whatsoever (at least the tempura was ok). all the meals were made so carelessly — the sushi looked fine, but anything from the actual kitchen looked like defrosted frozen food literally thrown onto a plate. no care in how anything looked. my father owns a japanese restaurant and i am aware of how much work and precision goes into each dish, even the ones that don’t come from the sushi bar. none of that precision was shown here. honestly super disappointed by this experience. a lot of people in our group is upset and disappointed as well. example of dirty, careless plating in the image (spicy pork don). in addition, the whole of the restaurant was dirty; i had to wipe down our table with a wet napkin from the bathroom because of how sticky it was. there was a literal empty can of white claw in the corner of the reservation room.

Visited here with my parents and my 3 year old daughter on a quiet Thursday night during summer time. The chef went out of his way to make our little girl happy, she loves sushi and he made her a special roll and chopsticks to practice with. Service was great and food delicious. We ordered mostly sushi, along with one noodles and tofu item. Would definitely go back when we are in town.

We ordered our food at 6:40pm. By 7:40pm we were still waiting for our meal. Food arrived at 8pm. The salmon teriyaki was cold and had a hair in it. Two orders arrived mixed up on one plate. When we sent it back, they returned the same dirty plate to us after scraping part of the food off. Serving dishes with old pieces of ginger still stuck inside were set out for us to use. We were one of two tables in the entire place. Don’t waste your time. Skip this restaurant.

The rolls were substandard, service was slow. We had to pay our bills at the counter ourselves.
We were not informed about the 40% off on Tuesdays not extending to items on the main menu (even though this was the previous practice). Therefore, some of us paid significantly higher than we would had we known.

Service was incredibly slow and restaurant was barely busy. Sushi tasted off, like it was on its way out. Picked ginger was dry and tasted like Pledge.

Food is a little overpriced for collegetown, but the hidden secret are their promotions that they have on quite a few of the days.
For example, on Tuesdays, a select few rolls are priced at 40% off

Good food, but possibly overpriced. Would recommend for a large group of people so that they can split the larger platters for a more economical experience.

It is ok to taste some sushi there, especially on Tuesday (40% discount). The flavor is also just ok.

Their deals made great sushi affordable for me and my friends. Definitely coming back.

From my experience this restraunt is not culturally appropriate Japanese, like most Ithaca restraunts, for the Korean ownership.
Though this place served for Korean corporations to recruit Cornell grads.
