I had a work appointment in Hendersonville today (prepping a listing in Plantation Walk for a showing). As my treat, I went to lunch. Ive never had Honduras food before, all I know is that it was decisions!!! Someone on facebook had raved about the chicken with spinach lunch special, so that’s what I was craving. Holy moly, it was great! The chicken juicy and the spinach cooked in the sauce. Beans and rice accompanied the chicken and spinach and I was offered tortillas as well.

They currently do not sell any alcoholic beverages. We were told they are working on getting their liquor license. The service was exceptional. The food was flavorful. They provide complimentary chips and salsa and we really liked the green one. The portions are large and we had plenty to take home. Several at our table said they get take out at least once or twice a week from here.

Absolutely amazing—authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. One of the best restaurants in the Asheville area if you’re looking for real Honduran food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is wonderful, and the food tastes almost entirely homemade. You can feel the care and tradition in every dish. A true gem.

I honestly can’t rave more about this place. It’s my second time and both times I have been transported back to Honduras with the flavors. One might say “it’s just a baleada”- but my goodness until you have tasted a baleada from a night mercado you won’t understand!! I sat savoring every single bite. The pupusas- amazing. The fried plantains with refried beans and cream- spectacularly special.

I saw this place a few times from driving by, and today I decided to give it a try. And they didn’t disappoint. I got the Cena Catracha, and it was lovely. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Especially if you haven’t been here before I will definitely be back! Thanks for the meal guys!!!

Don’t get me wrong. The food was good. It was hot, fresh, and quick to the table.
Maybe it’s just me, but I expected to be bowled over with flavor. Instead, my taste buds left disappointed that everything but the guacamole was fairly bland. If you appreciate heavy lime like I do, don’t forget to try the guacamole.

Amazing food! We had the cheese dip, spicy salsa, fried plantains, pupusas, and arroz con camarones. Can’t wait to go back and sample some other menu items!
