This was our last meal on our vacation and it wrapped the trip up very well. Their owner was walking around talking to everybody and had a great conversation with us about their story. Their portions were relatively big and I truly enjoyed their chicken karage and katsu! Their ramen also looked amazing. Will be coming back when I’m in the area.

The ramen was bad, wonder how they got 4.7 stars? Broth was bland and watery, meat cut thick, big, bland and very smelly, old meat smelly kinda thing, noddle was ok. I asked the owner what is good here he replied with the answer which i hate the most “everything is good here”. Turn out everything was bad… i asked for a hot sake, they gave me the smallest bottle ever, said they don’t have bigger size… the sake was sour… who knows how long it’s been there. Well, was a bad experience.

I’m struggling to understand HOWWW this place has 4.7 stars. The food was AWFUL. The gimbap seemed like it was heated in a microwave. The calamari was made at best. I think the Ramen that comes in the packages taste better than this. If you have tried Ramen Kumamoto in Newark, this does NOT even compare. Not even close! Ramen Kumamoto is WAYYY better. Trust me save your money. ♀️

Everything was great when I walked in the host was friendly. My waiter was great…I mean, I didn’t have to wait for anything. I ordered a beer and started with the Korean Wings. The crunch on them was great. The sauce of them was like a teriyaki a tiny bit on the fish sauce side, but would order 10 times out of 10. The issue was when I got the bipimbap. The presentation was great. The quality was great. But all I could taste was sesame oil. It got to the point where I had to stop eating it. Because I could taste nothing but sesame oil. I can’t crush them on stars because everything about the place is great. It was just a sesame oil.
If I was to return, I would try the ramen. Since that seems to be their strong point. I will report back because I don’t think this is a place that should be ignored.
Edit: Other restaurants take notice of how they handled the review…true professionalism. I appreciate that and will be back next time im in the are to take you up on your suggestions. 5

Stopped in on our way back from Ocean City and this was such a hidden gem. I was craving ramen and thankfully we managed to catch this place right before closing.
It’s a well decorated restaurant with a ton of anime paraphernalia around. It was nice and clean, with plenty of seating. Service was quick. They gave us enough time to peruse the menu and got us started with water/drinks.
The food was the main attraction though. We ordered vegan gimbap and shrimp shumai to start. Both delicious and hot straight from the kitchen. Our entrees were the Seafood Hot Pot Noodle Special and the Zaru Soba. I looove Zaru Soba and the dipping broth was both light and flavorful. But the star for me was the Seafood Hot Pot. It was so spicy and mouth-numbing with a ton of peppercorn in the soup. I was addicted to drinking the soup. I’m coming back just for that dish. And the ube ice cream was good too. I love ube and this was decently sweet and it kind of had a grainy texture, almost like it was homemade.
Amazing little gem in Rehoboth Beach. Can’t wait to make another trip here.

Food Poisoning Symptom Alert!!!
I had dinner here with my wife yesterday, and unfortunately, we both developed food poisoning symptoms afterward. It was a terrible experience.
The bamboo shoots in the ramen had a slightly rotten smell—I initially thought it was just part of the flavor, but it turned out not to be the case. Today, both my wife and I have been feeling dizzy, nauseous, and I personally have had diarrhea three times already.
For context, we had different lunches yesterday, but the same dinner here, so we are certain this restaurant was the source. We ordered the Miso Spicy Ramen, Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, Takoyaki, and a plate of Edamame.
If you plan to eat here, please be cautious.

Food was amazing, service was very attentive, and atmosphere was very nice! We had the pork buns and the pork cuts were HUGE and JUICY. Noodles were phenomenal, same with the broth
We were spending the weekend in Rehoboth and started to get so tired of the food around here. Not to disrespect the seafood and other amazing food in the area but we’d been eating seafood and some pastas for 4 meals now, and we were dying.
You’d understand this if you were Asian lol Me and my girls just couldn’t go more than a day with some familiar taste. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! Would definitely come back again next time we are in town!

It’s not every day you stumble upon a restaurant that you are greeted by a co-owner who has a pure genuineness about him that truly has perfected the art of customer service and being a kind human. John seemed to welcome us into the restaurant as if we already had been family friends for years. He gave incredible attention to the kids who absolutely adored him alike. The restaurant and ambiance was decorated adorably. The cleanliness was superb even well into the bathroom with adorable anime wall paper and even a beday. What???
The food was also impeccable and I left with just as much attention on the way out as on the way in. John continued to float around to be sure everyone was happy with their experience. Surely, he was the right man for the job! I truly couldn’t have expressed my love for this place any more. I can’t wait to come back to Rehoboth next year on vacation and stop back in! Keep up the excellent service!

The food is great! There’s an abundance of pork in the ramen. Almost too much, you will most likely have leftovers. The prices in general aren’t too bad, but some of the starters are overpriced for what you get. Overall, I absolutely recommend stopping in for some great food.
