Absolutely incredible place! Went there for my little sister’s bday per her request of restaurant. High quality sushi and great service. Only sorta con is the price – higher than other sushi restaurants around. But still really great time, we had most of the rolls. My favorite was the Light beam roll. It was surprising, even though it has apple in it. Most try! Some of the rolls were too fishy. Brussel sprouts also fantastic!! Esp the sauce.

This was my experience. We waited like 5 minutes to be seated which is not that long at all. We were seated in the bar area which is a loud entertaining vibe. The service was spot on. Stephen was our waiter and did an amazing job. The place was packed especially around the bar. And he and other staff had to maneuver around customers in the walk way. We ordered dinner salads to start, easy and delicious. We ordered, light the beam, crunch roll, taylor, torch, and another I don’t recall. For me personally they were mid. My rolls I felt were over seasoned with the sauces they used. Presentation was fair, nothing to remember. My partner rolls were planish. It was our first time here, again the service was awesome. The whole staff seemed busy. I am always questioning sushi places that a huge bar areas. Typically when this happens the food suffers. Just my experience. Thank you for the hospitality for sure. The vibe is great for drinks and sports.

I am a regular at Miyagi for the past few years and love this place. I have found the food to be better than any sushi place I’ve found in Sacramento. Not to mention, Gwen (one of my regular bartenders) has made my experience so fun and so much better! She knows my drink and food order before I ask and has been such a positive energy in this space. She knows how to anticipate the needs of her customers and acts on that. If it weren’t for Gwen, I wouldn’t come as much. She knows how to make a killer lemon drop martini and also is just so kind and approachable. Love Miyagi!!!

If you’re looking for a great authentic Japanese sushi bar, I don’t know if you can get any better than this in Sacramento. I was extremely impressed. The food was phenomenal. I would highly recommend of a spider roll or the Nikki roll. Drinks were well made. The staff was so nice and very accommodating. This is a sushi place worth checking out. 2 thumbs way up!

Absolutely one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in Sacramento. The fish was so fresh and the rolls did not require any modifications whatsoever. The service was excellent and we were given the option to be seated outdoors or indoors. Food was quick, yet elegant and delicious. Nothing but good things to say. So glad I was finally able to try it out; I’ll definitely be back.

Excellent sushi and service. I was very impressed with their service. My waiter was very punctual and sincere. The sushi was very good too. I ordered the Chef’s Roll I think and it was very good. The waiter even asked me what I wanted my roll to have, so I asked for mostly salmon and white fish, fried onions, and to make it spicy. It was so worth it coming here for lunch. Great experience.

I love sushi but I didn’t really love this place. The customer service I received was excellent David was an amazing serving and I want to thank him for that. The menu itself was quite interesting it was just a sheet of paper with words on both sides no pictorial indication of what you might be getting. The deep fried oysters were really good . Bento box which is the only safe thing I knew to order. Probably never going back.

The wait staff was very nice and attentive. And the options available were pretty vast. But I felt like 2 my rolls weren’t particularly flavorful, though they sounded amazing.
I will say that the spicy Edamame is super good. And if that was all I had eaten, I’d go 5 stars for sure.
