Pretty solid. I got the salmon avocado roll and for $11, it was pretty massive! Very generous on the amount of salmon in each piece. Sushi actually kind of fell apart but I’m not complaining lol.
Also, the ginger is some of the freshest I’ve ever had at any sushi restaurant – even the fancy ones.

I was so sad to see Sushi J close but I’m very happy that Mix Sushi Bar is here to replace it! The sushi is still as great as ever and pretty affordable, too. I believe they may have the same distributor for fish since the quality is pretty equal and tastes great.
I got the Salmon, Spicy Seared Salmon, and Unagi nigiri. Their Salmon sushi is so delicious. I’m picky about my sushi – it has to be cut at a specific thickness for it to be satisfying – and Mix Sushi Bar gets that just right.
I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area and in the mood for some sushi. Love that it’s in Crossroads Mall, too. Very casual and lots to do in that area as well.

This place has changed ownership multiple times and it’s gotten slightly worse each time. The food now is slightly better than ok. They quality is good but the portions are small. The sushi has gotten much thinner than it used to be.

Just ordered the california roll! It was so fresh and delicious. I had requested no ginger and wasabi since it’s gross, and they had remembered not to put it in.

So this is a little hole in the wall quick sushi spot! I always get the seared combo and haven’t tried anything else. So I can’t give the full food review! But for what I get, I’m very happy with it. Go to quick lunch when idk what I want or have a craving!

Mix Sushi Bar recently (re)opened where Sushi J was inside Crossroads Mall in Bellevue. Most of the menu items were kept the same with the addition of some new vegan choices. I believe some of the staff members who worked at Sushi J might have also returned.
I ordered the Sashimi Bowl Combo, which remains mostly unchanged compared to the Sushi J version. You can now choose 1/2 rice 1/2 greens also, which was not an option before. I believe the poke was slightly less onion-y; this is an improvement in my opinion as it is more balanced, but it may come down to your personal preference.
