Mitsuryu is the best treat ever. It’s our favourite sushi restaurant for a reason. Not only is the food the tastiest, very fresh & top quality, so is the service. It’s truly top quality. We were served by Monika/Monica and she took extra care to make sure we have a wonderful experience. She is very lovely, respectful and attentive. Truly memorable service and food! I also love how clean it always is and how all the staff members are kind. The atmosphere is wonderful and exactly what I look for. Even the music volume is perfect. Honestly it’s my favourite restaurant. Thank you again Monica for asking talented chefs to treat us with lovely presentation. Perfect place for dates and family

We had lunch here on a cold winter day. Once in, you can feel the warmth inside. Time to shed the thick layers of clothes and relax.
We ordered two set lunch. There’s sashimi for the side dish. What a nice surprise! Even the miso soup made me feel like home. The crispy chicken in curry sauce, YUM YUM. The sirloin beef was tender even when it’s well done. If I were to advise areas of improvement, I’d suggest the chef sear the beef after the pan is sizzling hot, to brown the surface of the meat. And pay attention to the direction of the lines in the beef when slicing it.
We cleared the bowls and plates. Not a bit was wasted.

I had a lovely lunch here for a reasonable price. I had the chicken katsu, not the curry version. It was <£15 with service charge.
It was nicely prepared and came with salad, agedashi dofu, miso soup, and rice. It is a balanced meal and the right size for me. If you expect large portions, you may be disappointed, but I found it perfect for me.
The staff were lovely and efficient. I will be back when in the area again.

The waitresses are very warm welcoming and polite, willing to help u whenever needed.

I visited Mitsuryu in Hampstead and can confidently say it’s one of the best sushi spots around. The sushi was excellent, and the salmon teriyaki was phenomenal – so fresh and full of flavour.
The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating, along with outdoor tables overlooking the park, which makes for a really nice setting.
Service was wonderful across the board, but a special mention goes to Omaima – on a busy bank holiday she handled orders, deliveries, and even impatient customers with professionalism and kindness.
Thank you for a great experience – I’ll definitely be back!
