It’s our first time here. We didn’t realize that Mitsuba and Mitsuba Ramen are different so glad we bumped into this restaurant. I love Tonkatsu and I got the bento box which is more than I could finish my husband got two different sushi rolls we forgot which one he ordered.

My mom took me here & it was delicious! The serve an appetizer called lava shown below. Not sure what’s in it but it’s very tasty. The meal portions are huge, prices reasonable, clean establishment and excellent customer service. We definitely be back!!

My assumption is that this area doesn’t offer a lot in terms of good Asian cuisine hence its high ratings. The restaurant was pretty packed for a week night which speaks to its popularity. We did not order the sushi though we did get some kind of deeply fried roll on the house. That was pretty good but wasn’t the type of sushi roll I’d normally order. The udon noodle soup was pretty tasteless, the pork tonkatsu had too much breading on it and was over fried. My son’s chicken teriyaki was fine. I mean it’s pretty hard to mess up chicken teriyaki. Overall, this served its purpose in giving us someplace to eat that wasn’t a chain restaurant or Italian food but I wouldn’t say the food was good by any means. Also the bathrooms were dirty and there was a rolled up doormat thrown behind our seats. On the plus side, service was good despite being busy and food came out promptly.

This place is great! I can’t vouch for any other dishes besides their sushi, calamari, and Veggie Tempura. But these, have always on point and one of the reasons we haven’t tried sushi from Red Samurai or Sumo yet. The calamari is delicious when they bread it themselves. A couple of times we got some that looked like the cheap frozen, store bought kind, but I’m guessing they just ran out of their own. Staff have always been friendly. I highly recommend this spot for a meal!

Do not order the calamari… it is clearly frozen. Comes out looking like onion rings and is just not it. This place is good for mediocre sushi but if they start following the trend of making stuff the way they make their calamari now…. It will def not be worth it. Go to lotus garden on genesee street for real sushi.

Nice experience. Comped us a tempura dragon roll. Not a sushi dinner without hot saki, BONZAI!!!!! Shrimp Tempura as an appetizer. I ordered the Mitsuba roll. Mrs King ordered the Dynamite Roll. Both were good! No complaints. Food was good, service attentive. I would recommend them for a break from traditional American duning.
