We’ve been here several times, it’s our favorite place to go but gosh they’ve been slacking lately. The Dr pepper is nasty, for the 2nd time, I ordered 4 chopped beef sandwiches and all of them are disgusting and full of fat.

We’ve been here before and it was actually good. Today the Mac n cheese was cold. The person that cut my brisket gave me a big slice instead of actually cutting it into slices. The turkey and brisket were dry and the turkey was just one big slice also. Not very friendly either. I’m not sure we’ll be back.

I occasionally try new (to me) BBQ places around town so stopped here today. Had the sliced brisket sandwich with waffle fries. Brisket was moist and tasty. Probably the best waffle fries I’ve ever had in Amarillo. The brisket deserves a better bun and the “chips” were just overcooked and hard as a rock. If the system allowed I would give it a 4.25-4.5 overall.

The portion sizes are good, and the chopped brisket was nicely done, with a good smoke flavor. I had the cole slaw, which was pretty good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chips. Thought they needed salt to give it some flavor. Staff was friendly and the building was nice and clean. I’ll be coming back to try out some other items from the menu. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Visiting from Vegas and just by walking in to pick up my order I knew the food wasn’t going to taste like real southern bbq. No grill smoke, no bbq smell nothing.
The Ribs were ok but lacked flavor and so did the brisket but let me tell you I can tell they use liquid smoke because it’s so overpowering it’s overwhelming to eat after a few bites.
The chips were good and crispy.
The potato salad tastes like I’ve had it before from Walmart or Albertsons, definitely not made in house. It’s store bought.
The Mac & Cheese is thick and too peppery tasting.
The banana pudding is the best thing there!
Overall it’s not worth the price and I’m highly disappointed for this being my first bbq spot I try out here.
Won’t be returning.

Pretty over priced for what you get. Ordered chicken tenders and a couple sandwiches. Took over 10 minutes to get our food (we were the only people in at the time with 4 people working) and everything except the tenders were cold. Charged us for drinks even though the meals were supposed to come with drinks which we didn’t notice till after we left.

The baked potatoes are quite tasty & Texas sized! We like the brisket, the beans , & cheese all piled on top. They also have chicken strips now too & they’re crispy and delicious. For dessert they have the best banana pudding! The little fried pies with custard like fruit fillings are light and have a great buttery flaky crust.
