Wow! It’s a diner with a nice unique presentation. Their Eggs Benedict are very good. By the way they mix it up and I think there were 8 different pairings? Well worth the visit and everything was delicious. I like how they locally source and the staff was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We asked a little about the local area since we were on vacation and got way more useful information than we anticipated. Could not recommend more! They love their eggs on the menu and you should go try them! Delicious.

Passing through on 84.
This was the least out of the way on.

Passing through on our way to Maine, we googled area restaurants and this place jumped out.
It was a diner’s diner with great basic atmosphere, decorations on the wall are great.
Staff and service were friendly, attentive without being clingy.
The food choice were varied but classic diner with a few creative twists thrown in. Despite being known for the all day breakfast dishes we went another way.
Wife ordered grilled cheese with tomato inside which the staff agreed to without hesitation. I went for the Rachel Burger (pictured) with fries. Both were delicious, and the fries were a perfect crunchy on the outside tender on the inside. The unsweetened tea was also very good.
Overall a great experience and a satisfying meal for not much money. We arrived just before 1:30 but we were welcomed like we were the first guests of the day.

My wife, grandson and I went on a Sunday morning for breakfast. It was very crowded but not a long wait. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and excellent as always. As very saddened to see that they no longer do a Thursday and Friday night dinners. I hope they will start that back up again I really liked the dinner. Service was great and with a smile.

Delicious food! Been here for breakfast and lunch. Great prices and friendly waitresses! Wish they had extended hours in the afternoon/evening. Nice gem in Vernon!

I ended up here because Chuck Wagon restaurant was closed for vacation. I’ve been to both years ago. Mitchell’s has since remodeled, looks great. Too busy, especially on Sunday, I’m guessing. It looked like a 30-40 minute wait, thankfully, I was alone so I grabbed the first counter seat. I sat next to a kind fellow, Bob, who gave me his knife and spoon because they were temporarily out. I went for the Homemade Corned Beef Hash, Bob convinced me to try an omelet, I got the Hash and Cheese omelet. Their omelets are made with a fluffy egg shell, smart way to get omelets out quickly. The Homemade corned beef hash was good not great. The hash browns were very good, I only tasted one onion piece, I wish there was more but most people might not want more like me. They were greesy in a very good way, maybe not for the health nut. Huge mug of coffee ☕ . I’m impressed with how they handled the non stop customer flow, there’s great management and a super crew of young adults. Get there early to avoid the wait.

I’ve been to a lot of diners, but this is one of noisiest and the food was what I call “functional”. I would have liked everything cooked more, eggs were too runny, potatoes and sausage underdone for my preference. O thought it was a bit of a greasy mess.
And no lunch on weekends? Never run into that before.

We didn’t find the food good at all. We had eggs, benedict, and they use sandwich meat for the ham. The hollandaise sauce was horrible. The hot chocolate was delicious though.

If you’re looking for a place with a strong “American small town” feel that serves REAL food then this is the place. Dine in was busy on a Friday afternoon but I came for takeout. Service was prompt and welcoming. Prices were fantastic for what you get. Authentic and delicious food that satisfied the belly and wallet.

Friendly and clean place with yummy food. The servers and cooks all had a hip and cool vibe and also knew how to smile and give good service. Our coffee was refilled without us having to ask and the potatoes and white toast in particular were outstanding. Very easy to get to from the highway.
