Service was great. My cup was never empty and finished plates left the table as quickly as they meals came. The waitress and busgirl were very friendly and quick with service. Parking is eh but the food makes up for it. Will be coming back for more next time when I’m in the area!

If I could give 10 stars I would! We’re visiting Lincoln from out of state & wanted a good steak dinner. Misty’s is one of the best places we’ve eaten at in a long time. Our waitress Victoria was top notch. I had the prime rib & hubby had the salmon. Victoria noticed my prime rib was a little underdone from what I’d ordered so she took it back for a quick trip on the grill. Came back perfect. Their seasoning really takes it to the next level. Hubby’s salmon was also delish. He also had French onion soup which tasted like it had been simmering all day. Absolutely divine. If you’re in the area this is a must visit restaurant. Our dinner with a cocktail, an extra side AND dessert was a little over $90! So much good food for a great price.

We’ve always been fans of Misty’s. Their prime rib has always been perfect, as well as their sides. However we went there last night. For the 1st time, we ordered something different A burger & a gyro with salad & Mac n cheese. It was the worst meal I have ever had at any restaurant. The gyro meat tasted old. The hamburger bun was hard. The burger was dry & didn’t taste good. There was barely any salad & it was drenched with way too much dressing. The Mac n cheese just tasted like plain noodles. Was very disappointed.

Great Food! The Calamari Was Just Right and Not Too Chewy Nor Crunchy. Although The Blackened Prime Rib Is A Smidge Too Seasoned, It Was Still Very Delicious! The Waiter Never Left Me With An Empty Cup To Be Filled and Checked On Us Frequently.

Folks, when you hear that a restaurant has “ambience”, THIS is what they are talking about! It has soft lights, much wood, and big semi-circle booths dressed in leather (or a very good semblance thereof!). This establishment has been in existence since 1963, but it feels more like the 40’s. You can easily picture wiseguys talking business in a corner while their body men drink high-balls in the bar.

our server, elaina, was amazing. but the food was sub par, the calamari was questionable, and the steak didn’t even have a char. for the price you can find much better elsewhere. if it weren’t for our awesome server we would’ve left

I have been going to Misty’s since I moved to Lincoln in 1984. I haven’t been for close to two years and was disappointed for the first time. My table all ordered prime rib and we were served the shavings meant for prime rib sandwiches. When I order a steak, I want a steak can cut into and enjoy, not shaved steak. And, what happened to the house dressing? I was so sad, I loved the house dressing. The waitress had never heard of it. Ugh. Our waitress was more interested in visiting with other waitresses than following up with us. The appetizer and baked potato were good. I am sure I will go back, but if I order prime rib, I will make sure I get a steak and not shavings. Also, we had initially called in to pick up the order and were told they were not taking to go orders. We thought they were probably too busy to deal with to go orders, that was not the case at all, the parking lots and dining areas were pretty barren.

Our server Stacey was outstanding as was my wife’s Ribeye. Their featured Prime Rib however was a disaster. They said rare was available, but what came was a chewy, medium piece which seemed like it came from an old dairy cow. In addition, the steak knives had no edge making for a further difficult meal.

The atmosphere is very homey and can tell it holds a lot of rich history inside. Food was excellent and would recommend the escargot and, of course, legendary steak. Service was nice and attentive. Higher in price, would save for a special occasion. Little bit of a wait but expected on a Saturday night. Overall, very nice restaurant and can’t wait to go back.
