This is a really cool, elegant old school restaurant. The interior is dark, with the big half round booths with tufted leather. They also have table seating.
They offer a wide variety of food from steak dinners, sandwiches and burgers, to salads and soups.
I had the French Onion Soup and it was delicious!
They also serve beer, wine and spirits
Our waitress was amazing! I wish I would have got her name so I could have given her a shout out. She was so sweet and did a good job taking care of our table.

Iconic! The best place for prime rib and Nebraska sports vibes in the state. A must stop anytime of the year but especially on game day. Expect a wait. Great service, great food and an etched in time atmosphere. Perfect ambience – restaurant and bar are well situated to allow for fine dining and excellent camaraderie without disturbing either group.

This was my wife and I first time to Misty’s. Our waitress Milandra was awesome. She recommended a couple of dishes to us. The food was great. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. It was a little pricey but so worth it.

Impeccable service but unremarkable steak, unfortunately. I ordered 17oz ribeye and for my boyfriend, NY strip. It is not bad by any means, but little tough and not so flavorful. Also, the only option for side dish is potatoes.
As mentioned above, I appreciated great service here. The server brought me a new cup of soda when it was half empty and informed us that the kitchen was backed up. Salad was big and bread was good, too. My bf also appreciated sports/huskers memorabilia as a sports fan.

Excellent date night! Service was outstanding, portions were great, and food was delicious. We started with the bruschetta as an appetizer and it was perfect. I got the Grilled Shrimp Alfredo and my partner got the Filet Mignon for our main dishes. Both were incredible, so much flavor and the filet was incredibly tender and cooked just as requested! Great wine list and the server answered all our questions and was super attentive! Definitely not cheap but thought it was well worth it; would love to come back soon to try more.

Overpriced, outdated, underwhelming sports bar pretending to be a high-end restaurant. We sat there for 2 hours waiting for our food. Lobster bisque was made with imitation crab meat. My steak arrived undercooked and missing all the accoutrements. The atmosphere itself is old and dingy with 30 year old tables with worn out peeling finish and carpets with original stains from when they first opened in the 60s. Staff was disorganized and sparsely available.
Overall I didnt see anything to justify the outrageous prices they were charging. You’d be better off saving some money and going to cheddars.

So disappointed!! My husband’s prime rib was tough, way undercooked (both times as he sent it back once) and the baked potato was hard. The mashed potatoes I ordered were inedible. The fried shrimp was okay… The entire meal was definitely not worth the money we paid.
The service was adequate.

So disappointing! I remember going to Misty’s in Havelock 30 years ago while attending UNL. It was the first time my parents met my boyfriend, now husband of 25 years. It was the best steak we’ve ever had and the experience was simply the best.
Tonight we visited our son, a student at Nebraska Wesleyan, and took him to the Misty’s location downtown. We thought it would be a treat, but it was so underwhelming! Honestly it was terrible.
I called to see if we needed a reservation and the hostess made seem like they were booked but if we rushed, he could get us in. When we arrived, we only saw 9 seated tables. The restaurant was only at about 30% occupancy. We were worried about the dress code because my son had shorts on, but honestly, he looked better than most of the patrons in the joint! The restaurant seemed old and dirty. The floors were stained, the bathrooms dark and dingy, and they had multiple temporary air-conditioners placed around the restaurant. Our waiter was nice but uneducated. When we asked about available spirits, he directed us to the menu and said he wasn’t sure because it was only his second day. The food was extremely subpar! My son’s 14 ounce ribeye was all fat. Wish I would have taken a picture. It looked uneatable! I ordered a French dip with onions and peppers for $2.00 more and couldn’t even see or taste a hint of them, the sandwich was soggy and disappointing. The manager did take my son’s steak off the bill, but never apologized or offered him an alternative. Sad, I thought it would be the Misty’s I remembered!

I had the Chicken Bruschetta. The chicken breast was very dry and cheese on top rubbery, very low on flavor. Not what I had expected for a $29 meal. It’s been several years since my husband and I had visit Misty’s. When we were there the last time our meal was delicious. Tonight I was disappointed. The waitress asked how our meal was, I answered honestly and she apologized.
